First of all, our room wasn't in the location they said on Booking. We were a couple streets away from the actual hotel, in an alley behind a restaurant.
We were meant to do the check in at 2 pm., but our room wasn't clean nor done by that hour.
One important thing about the stay is that there is no cleaning service. We stayed for 5 days and we didn't have our room cleaned or our bed done. If you want to exchange sheets or towels, you have to do it yourself (they have a drawer with more sheets, towels and toilet paper outside the rooms).
They didn't give us any shampoo or shower gel when other rooms had dispensers (we had the opportunity to see another one when doing the late check in), we showered with hand soap.
Plus, the temperature of the shower didn't regulate well. You could only shower with a very hot or cold water. We asked if it was possible to change rooms or get the shower fixed, but they said there wasn't any other rooms available and that a maintenance worker would solve the problem. But we didn't see any changes the day after that.
I think the bed was okay, the room was spacious and there was a little fridge, a microwave, a coffee machine and an iron. The microwave, however, was so dirty we didn't use it.

I did indeed enjoy an amazing night stay at Vilenza Hotel! The room was cozy, clean, & well-equipped with all the essential amenities. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive, making check-in and check-out quite a breeze. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Whitechapel station, with easy access to the city. It’s a great spot for a short and affordable stay, may it be for business or leisure. I’d definitely recommend it for anyone visiting London!

The bedroom is as described in booking.com with a nice bathroom but the hairdryer did not work.

The room offered was non-refundable and there was no mention during the booking process that the room is not in the hotel itself. After making the reservation, the hotel emailed to say that the room is in the building adjacent to the hotel. The night before our arrival, the hotel staff texted the address of the accommodation which is not adjacent but a third of a mile away. They offered the option of staying in the hotel itself for an additional fee. They also said that we have to call them 20 minutes before arrival so that they can meet at the accommodation.

Next day, we called 20 minutes before arrival. The hotel staff said that we must call again when we arrive at the address to prove that we are actually there. We then had to wait on the street for 10 minutes until hotel staff arrived to let us in.

Overall, a poor experience.

Hotel quite nice and beautiful. Just the door is bit tricky to open. We struggled ?. The manager is polite and good at his job near to underground stations and not much expensive in comparison to other hotels. Recommendable

The room was ok. The receptionists were very friendly.
The Metro and the bus stop are almost 10 minutes walking.
There I took the bus National Express to go to Stansted Airport (very easy!)

Do not book this hotel!! The pictures are nothing like the hotel. It’s old and smelly! I was greeted by a lady late twenties at the desk who first asked me for 300£ deposit on my room and after speaking with her she said ok £50 will be fine. I paid via my bank card with the promise once I check out 3-5 business days I’ll be reimbursed . This did not happen!! I’ve called the hotel, emailed and they keep telling me my bank has blocked the payment and they certainly have not as I asked! Now complete silence! It’s now been 2 months! The room that I was given was beside a smoking area of the hotel and it was so loud! People drinking until 4am and I had to be awake at 6 for work ! It Was a horrible experience! Never again!! Please refund me!!!! The room was in perfect condition and I’ve messaged to prove it!

Staff super friendly, I was late and they whatsapped me to double check then assured me all was well as 24hr desk. Nicely located near Whitechapel etc. room a bit weird, couldn’t open the window and it was frosted so felt quite claustrophobic, thankfully there was a fan as it was summer. Pretty quiet though, often these cheaper hotels are so noisy. I slept ok

Catfish hotel alert! Do not believe the pictures! Family room 204 had two futon beds which were so lumpy I had to put duvets on top so my kids could sleep. Wallpaper was hanging off and put up by Stevie Wonder in places. Carpet was worn, lumpy and dirty. The main bed was small & creaky. No AC in the room so had the window open but then had to close due to loud people outside. Stayed one night and went to check out and reception was closed so just left the key! Didn't like the Whitechapel area, booked it to go to ABBA and the London stadium for gigs but pretty close to the tube. AVOID.
