Absolutely amazing gym! Staff are so kind and helpful and love a chat! Wayyy better than the typical commercial gyms as you have access to pool, sauna, classes (such as bike, an amazing boxing room), it is fully kitted out and is absolutely amazing! Worth the money and the experience for your own wellness ☺️ staff such as Mo and K are incredible! Absolute stars including everyone from staff ❤️

Personal Training.

I'm really happy getting back into my fitness in 2025. All the staff on the club reception are always so polite and helpful and so knowledgeable. After a really lazy December I decided to start up some Personal Training sessions.

One of the Personal Trainers that stood out for me was Sanchez Salmon. He's so friendly, enthusiastic, professional and always makes time to talk through any concerns regarding fitness. He knows his stuff. Recently I was suffering with chronic lower back pain, hence me not going to the gym throughout December 2024. I attended 2 sessions to see my chiropractor to help sort my lower back, but I also wanted to start my PT at the same time. I approached Sanchez at the start of January 2025 to discuss PT. He took my details, I explained about my lower back pain and also what else I wanted to achieve from PT sessions. Sanchez truly listened to what I wanted out of PT and I felt totally at ease, as he explained what kind of things we can do in PT to help get me back into a routine.

So far I've had 5 sessions with Sanchez and I must say, he's been great, adapting the PT sessions slightly to cater for my recent injuries, but at the same time he really pushes you to strive towards your goals. He's very enthusiastic and motivates me well. Perfect combination of great personality yet so incredibly professional. I no longer have pain in my lower back and stopped seeing my chiropractor after just 2 sessions because I felt so much better after my first few PT sessions with Sanchez. He's either 'miracle worker' or purely skilled at what he does so well.

I'll be doing my final session this week with Sanchez. I'll also definitely be booking in a new set of sessions with him again in the early Spring.

Just wanted to thank Sanchez for all his hard work and motivation and for helping to get me back into my fitness routine. 💪 thanks. Regards Jay Chauhan

Really like coming here. I switched up my gym membership from a previous gym and glad I did. The variety of equipment and free weights means you are rarely left waiting to use anything you might need for your workout. The sauna and steam rooms are a nice post-workout to complete a visit. And the amount of classes you can book on to mean you can really mix up your sessions each week.
Showers could be hotter would be my only critique, I don't think they generate enough heat sometimes.

Gym equipment is old and outdated, machines broken and not fixed for weeks. Men’s changing rooms are filthy, the floors have dirt and hairs everywhere. Changing room also frequently smells of urine as the toilet area is not checked on enough even if when the staff have been informed. Doors are hanging off changing rooms for months and still not fixed. Staff don’t take any notice when you tell them of these issues, and don’t even say they will take a look. They just argue with you. Pool and sauna was out of service for 2 weeks and no compensation was given. The last straw was when the ladies changing room was under repair for weeks, they gave the men’s changing room to them! Poor guys had to use a make shift solution!! Disgraceful! They also charge premium prices for this “service”. My advice, AVOID…

The gym space is vast and they have loads of classes. I had the luck to get on a couple Zumba classes during my stay and the instructor, Tina, was an absolute gem. She was so full of energy and joy that it made the class immensely enjoyable. Well done Tina.

This was a 4 star review that read....Finally dropped the temperature in the pool to make it appropriate for distance swimming and an actual workout. Well done 👏 But the update is the pool temp has increased a bit at a time until today when it made me feel like I had heat stroke. Others in the changing rooms were complaining too. It's ridiculous. Imagine if they made the gym that hot you nearly passed out from a 5k run! Wouldn't happen, so why make the pool so hot?

Staff at the village are all friendly and courteous, the gym has some fantastic facilities. I’ve never really been into classes but have recently been doing the box and burn class which I love. I have really found my love for the gym again since joining … and just a quick mention that Rachel & Claire have been fabulous and answered any questions I’ve had. Nothing is too much for the staff here. Definitely worth a join x
