For my thoughts read the review, not the stars.

Pros: my partner felt really comfortable training at this gym, helpful staff, clean, good selection of equipment from techno gym, able to get a really solid workout, spacious, wasn’t overly busy when we trained at around 10 am Sunday morning, spa facilities.

The cons which may be a positive to others, not a selection of different brands ie Atlantis/prime etc, for me the gym is a good mix for anyone that trains but doesn’t excel for bodybuilding, strongman but at the same time can get a really good workout.

Been a member for almost a year and will be moving as soon as the contract ends. The staff couldn’t be friendlier and the classes are great, however the showers and changing rooms are disgusting for the price you pay. It looks and smells like it’s never had a deep clean. There is mould and grime everywhere. The gym itself and the studio room floor is usually dirty. I've never seen anyone cleaning.

The gym is a sweat box with poor air conditioning - an issue during the colder months too! Trying to get a cardio workout done in there is hell. It’s usually rammed between 5-8, which is expected but it means the gym gets far too warm.

I’ve found the pool, sauna and steam room to be a lot better maintained, but I’ve stopped using them because I can’t bring myself to use the showers - the smell is horrid.

It’s a real shame because I have been enjoying the classes. There’s a wide variety and at different days / times, plus the instructors are 10/10.

Looking forward to starting a new gym soon…

Great environment, great equipment and a friendly happy place , feel like I’m on holiday when I visit . The village gym south has the best staff also , especially the manager Phil Brodie , all the staff are happy to help with any questions or issues . Fab place ! ?

I signed up again which is gonna be my last and the lady at sign up wanted a review for adding gym passes to mu account which in reality ain't free but should be on there for compensation for facilities being down ..

I been a member for a long time .. most of staff good ..minority with a little chip on shoulder .. took 3 months for them to fix the water machine , one machine for the whole gym ..took close to two weeks to fix sauna ..facilties do go down regular and sometimes can take time to be back up ..

Taking a lot of members on plus hotel can be very busy at time and pool can't be used many times when the children and adults use at same time ..and I won't go into cleanliness of the toilets..sometimes?

Simple little gym ..decent equipment ..does the job ..could be bigger for the amount of members..

My gym experience here is a nightmare. I was using a hair dryer and it malfunctioned leading to sparks and burned my hand. I had to take a break from everything and It's unfair not to receive compensation for missed work, especially with bills piling up. Then being asked to pay my gym bill on top of it all is just adding insult to injury especially when i had to take half a month off for something which was the gyms fault.

The lack of empathy from the gym management is disappointing and reflects poorly on their customer service.
