A one night stay was reasonably comfortable at a good price point.
The Caprese Salad was disappointing. One tomato sliced horizontally, 5 times, interspersed with thin slices of mozzarella cheese. The overly done balsamic vinegar squiggles on the small plate were an attempt to make the meal look bigger than it was. Not satisfying, especially when the other three in our party had more substantial quantities of food. The mild curry was served on a bed of rice and the chicken Caesar salad filled a large plate.
Breakfast was reasonably good for the price and offered a good selection.
Our room was small; such that two people could not pass between the end of the bed and desk. Our tiny bathroom could not accommodate two people. A person had to negotiate around the modern rectangular sink to use the toilet. There was no towel rail and working the shower was difficult without instructions. There was a Dyson fan in the room with the usual kettle, tea and coffee etc. Our room was near to a 'dreaded' corridor fire door which banged when people let it close on its own. Our bathroom door was also on a strong closure system and care was needed when entering to make sure it didn't bang. There was no operating extractor fan in the bathroom.

We picked this hotel due to a discounted deal on a email.|One night B&B everything included £69.|The location for anyone travelling to Manchester airport is fantastic literally 10 minute drive, however if you are a very light sleeper I would definitely avoid this hotel as you can hear every airplane and it’s about every 30 minutes. If your a deep sleeper then perfect.|Hotel is lovely and clean, the staff are really friendly and helpful, however my reason for only giving 4 stars is due to our room location. We were on the first floor right above the gym, the lady on reception did warn us about the noise levels till 8.30pm which is fine as we were dining out, but forgot to mention the morning noise.|At 6.30am we were woken up to what I would describe as a 18-30’s party night. The morning exercise class has started. I have to say that the young man on reception was very accommodating and moved me to another room straight away so I could get back to sleep, leaving my partner in our original room, also a complimentary Starbucks.Fantastic customer service there.|Would definitely come back again if going to Manchester airport

Had an absolutely amazing night at the Halloween event tonight, October 27, 2024. Alexah, Megan, and Hasam on the bar were fantastic, very polite, very helpful, and approachable. George was also fab! He was very approachable and polite. He helped with every query I had and was very professional, as was every staff member I dealt with above.

Will definitely recommend this place to everyone 100%.

Where do we begin with my first visit to a village hotel...|Paid for the hotel in Ashton in Advance and arrived early at the hotel and was advised check in is later on - not a problem!||Arrived at the hotel (ashton) in the late evening after a day in manchester meeting freinds and a trip to the Peter Street Kitchen and the Alchemist to discover they have taken the rooms out of service and now have no accommodation. fantastic. ||Why they couldnt communicate this earlier I do not know and the only way I found out was via self service kiosks as no staff around after the 3rd attempt at checking in a member of staff appeared. ||At first wanting me to drive the car to this hotel in cheadle (NOT a chance after having a couple of drinks) they then agreed to arrange for a taxi and accommodation at this hotel. ||Then taken nearly an hour to get shipped from one hotel to another and of course the new hotel not exactly fully informed of the situation. ||They then agreed to later checkout and breakfast which fine if you could get more than 10mins sleep. ||The constant noise was insane it was like sleeping above a night club Village Hotel & Club must mean its a night club given the noise that comes from it. Continually loud bass and to finish off drums at 1am in the morning. ||They have a handy QR code to speak to a member of staff of which they dont as A) the online chat doesnt work and B) the telephone number it displays does not exist. ||Then, just in case you are not fully awake, the planes for Manchester Airport will keep you awake around the clock with the continuous noise of jet engines.||I will try to up load the video which will demonstrate how loud the noise is it felt like the planes were brushing the roof of the hotel. ||Honestly I would have had a better night sleep in the car. ||The breakfast was limited I had a slice of toast and as expected on the conveyor belt thing so you either end up with warm bread or cremated and then the coffee machine that was like drinking fairy liquid. ||Food I am never fussed about at a hotel as its always mass catering and it is what it is and normally avoid it if I can anyway.||Whilst I appreciated the offer of a later checkout it is pointless if you cannot remotely sleep and therefore couldn't have waited to leave this hotel.||I don't expect the world with hotels just 3 things A) a Clean Room B) a Comfortable Bed and C) a decent night's sleep.||None of which I achieved at this hotel. ||Could not wait to leave. || As the issues are with 2 hotels its a nightmare and no doubt one will blame the other and vice versa.|| I think I will give this chain a miss as it definitely isn't an isolated issue.

Stayed in a club room which was very spacious and at the back of the hotel so no noise from the road or bar downstairs. Girl at check in was lovely and even offered me ear plugs as you’re on the flight path.. I didn’t need them and slept like a baby.

Gym and leisure suite are first class, and the onsite Starbucks is a bonus. Parking is £5 per night.

Really poor sound insulation, noisy neighbours easily heard between rooms. Tired rooms in need of some updates.

Bring your ear plugs to avoid hearing planes landing at 5am.

Sums up the hotels attitude I guess. Same response pasted onto different reviews at different times by different people - will not visit again.
