" Hidden gem "The perfect place, emaculate clean|Very comfortable and warm room. Plenty of electric sockets to charge my devices and work with my laptop. Great TV and really excellent hot shower, so easy to use. Friendly staff and fantastic... The staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and metro, trams, buses and the Central Station. I will certainly be back."

Vitality Hotels Birmingham exceeded all my expectations! The hotel's staff were warm and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. My room was not very large but spacious enough for one person, ensuring a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the accessible, fully equipped kitchens, which made my stay even more convenient. The playrooms were an added bonus, providing a great space to relax and enjoy. I can't wait to return to this fantastic new hotel!

I chose to stay with Vitality Hotels for an event I attended over the weekend; safe to say it was a generally easy stay and I have no major complaints.

The room had everything I needed so it was perfectly fine for me and the shower had a high water pressure so that was great.

There was a charge of £20 as a refundable deposit for the Room key in the event that people lose them; which is understandable but I hadn't read a single thing about this before arriving so it felt a little underhanded.

Saying that though, it's a minor issue I have (which is more so with the principle of not being transparent about this) and the staff that I interacted with were very kind so it's really no big deal. (My deposit has already been refunded)

Overall, for the price I paid though, the value was really good. Can't say it's like a hotel hotel, you're pretty much getting an ex-University dorm room but it's functionally sound and close to the city centre in Birmingham.

I had a fantastic three-week stay at Vitality Hotel Birmingham. The rooms were clean, modern, and the facilities were top-notch. What really made my stay special was the hospitality of hosts Alaa and Anna, who went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Birmingham.

Quite a strange experience! Straight away arriving at the “hotel” this doesn’t have the name on front it is called something else. When you walk in to the entrance on the left is an obvious reception but this is not Vitality. Vitality’s reception is in an unused restaurant to the right, when entering I asked about parking as this is listed on the advert for booking, I was told there is on street parking (you have to pay) or parking around the corner at the gym. Normally a hotel will have a car park but ok I can deal with that. When speaking to the manager/receptionist she took my details and got me my key, I had to pay a £20 deposit, this is again something I haven’t seen much but again I paid and I’ll get my money back on check out I hope. When walking to my flat as they call them as opposed to rooms, which I never knew when booking, the stench in the corridor was disgusting. There was bin bags and old discarded KFC wrappers piled 6ft high on the way to my room ?. Once I got into my room I noticed there was no telly, there’s a bed a toilet and a shower. That’s fine I can deal with that but you expect a telly or tea making facilities or something, this isn’t a prison cell (even though they themselves have teles in their rooms). I noticed there is a common room on each floor with kitchen facilities, is this a hostel opposed to a hotel!? No it can’t be it’s called vitality hotels not vitality hostels. The rooms are quite shabby and not very well cleaned, there was black hairs in my bedding and also on the bathroom floors. There is paint on the floor from the decorating and whoever did the cutting in from roof to walls shouldn’t paint again. The vent in the bathroom is thick with dust and lint, for the price you pay this should really be a lot better value for money. I think you should invest in soft closing doors, people were up and down the hall slamming doors shut. I certainly will not stay here again and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it to anyone I like, only my enemies.

Clean and tidy hotel. The room size is perfect for solo stay. It is very useful to have a communal kitchen at the end of corridor and is very rare to have in most budget hotels. The en suite was clean and it was nice to have some complimentary bodywash. The only downside was that there was no tv in the room which increased a feeling of loneliness.

Alla one of the front of house staff was so lovely, she was a big help. Other members of the team were also nice but I can’t remember their names

Cheap, nice, cultured, clean, quiet. Quick exit to the highway, nice garden separated from the street, and parking spaces. Bad news for people with diesel cars because the hotel is literally 1/2 mile from the Green Zone, i.e. already in its zone. I highly recommend the hotel itself. For this price I rate it higher than Travel lodge.
