A modern hotel with an industrial theme to the rooms. The layout of the room is very modern and largely works. In my room the fridge was a bit on the noisy side and oddly the bathroom fan is very loud for people in the room verses the occupant of the bathroom. I liked the desk area and the provision of seating options other than the bed. The hotel was quiet on our visit. The bar area was nice and contemporary and service was excellent. Breakfast was above and beyond with exceptional service and a wide range of freshly prepared options.

First impressions were good. The hotel was contemporary in decor and staff were professional. The extras such as a staged seating area with big screen went down very well with our teens. Food was of a good quality and there was a varied choice of traditional and more continental breakfast. The parking on- site was handy and secure.

We love the design of the hotel. Looks very modern with a retro touch. The check-in was very easy and fast and we were welcome with some complimentary biscuits. The bedrooms are very clean and modern with comfortable beds and pillows. The fact that the sockets were at both sides of the beds made it easy for us to charge our phones. The modern bathroom with high quality toiletries was a definitely a plus. Love the biscuits that come together with the complimentary drinks. Breakfast didn't disappoint us. A variety to choose from. The chef was also kind enough to provide us vegan sausages. Finally, the staff were very kind and friendly. For sure we will choose to stay at the hotel in the future.

Perfect location. The team here are amazing. Friendly and approachable whilst being professional. The room are extremely comfortable and cozy. All in all I cannot find a fault. Word of warning, the food is far too tasty and I just wanted a nap after breakfast!!

First stay at the Voco, due to my earlier booking mix up, but decided to take this stay. SOO glad we did - one of those gems oyu ocassionaly find.

A fantastic interior designed building in the city centre with such clever detai and eecor - I marvelled at the design modern industrial and animal!

All staff encountered from food & bev to housekeeping and front office were teriffic from the desk, parking restaurant and bar. Ive stayed in many UK and hotels including the * in Berlin.

If I find a VOCO in my next locations of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Milan I shall be looking to stay there now.too.

Well done team. Highy recommend this experience.

Disappointing.The room was cold and the heating didn't work. I phoned reception who explained the controls but the noisy air conditioning only pumped out cool air even with the sun logo on the control panel. The refrigerator style temperature made it feel more like a funky prison cell than a hotel room.A comfortable armchair in the room would have been welcome. Breakfast was good and the WiFi was ok. I booked my parking in advance, which is highly advised due to tiny number of spaces.

For the price we paid this is by far the best city hotel I've stayed in (booked via booking.com 6 months prior to visit).||We had a twin room which was really well equipped with hanging space, fridge, safe, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, water and biscuits.|Also a full length mirror, decent hairdryer, desk space and lots of lighting options. The curtains blocked out any light and the beds were super comfortable which meant we got a really good nights sleep.||The bathroom had an excellent sized shower which could be turned on without even entering the enclosure and consisted of both a rain and power shower. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion were also available (these were full sized versions which are not to be taken away).||We were staying in Leicester due to an event at the O2 Academy - which was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. If you're going to the rugby though, this hotel is next door to the stadium.||We thought the price of the food was high so we walked down the road to Nandos, which took about 5-10mins. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on what the food is like. Check out was 11am which was a good time for us.||We parked in the hospital car park which was just over £13 for 24 hours. All we needed to do was cross the road from the car park and we were at the hotel.||Would definitely stay here again if we were ever in Leicester.

The hotel could be great but it lacks atmosphere. The room was spacious and quirky. I liked the large desk as I was working but for leisure probably a bit intrusive. Bed comfortable and shower good. The restaurant menu was a bit boring and the service was poor. I ordered two courses and was asked if I wanted them together! The waitress appeared to not know the menu or how to serve it. The breakfast only started at 7:30 so I missed it
