We have stayed here several times before and the reason we keep retuning is because of the quality of the stay. Very comfortable rooms and they accommodated us in a family room which even with two adults and two teenagers was plenty big enough. Unlike most places the tea tray was replenished every day and also they let us use there fridge for some of our own food. Will definitely be going back and almost forgot to mention the breakfast 1st class. Many thanks.

Our motorhome broke down travelling to Fawley for an event over the weekend and we needed very last minute accommodation. ||Walcot House was a 5 minute walk from where we needed to be so absolutely perfect, but their website showed that they were full (like most accommodation in the wider area as it was the start of the school holidays). ||We phoned on the off chance they had something and spoke to the lovely Denise who said they had a small double available with a small en-suite, would that be ok? As we needed to attend the event it was very much ok! ||Upon arrival in the evening we were greeted by the equally lovely Rob. We were expecting a very small bed, but it was a very good size and the en-suite was absolutely fine too. Both much bigger than our motorhome, so we were very happy.||The room was very clean & tidy and on the ground floor. The breakfast room was right next door and breakfast itself was a joy. Several great choices including gluten-free bread for my husband (who subsequently indulged in a full English breakfast). ||All in all we had a fantastic stay and will not hesitate to recommend Walcot House to anyone!

Rob, the owner gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home throughout our stay. ||We stayed in twin bedroom 4 which was a very clean, comfortable good sized room and en suite. ||The location is ideal for exploring the New Forest and surrounding areas. There was a very good and varied breakfast menu, more variety than any other guest house I have stayed. ||The area itself does not have any local pubs or restaurants which didn’t affect us as we had already booked dinner in Hythe and Lymington. Other places are a short drive away

Our room was clean and well appointed and furnished. The four poster bed was a nice surprise. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and there was plenty of it. Well situated to explore the New Forest and surrounds. Definitely worth a visit and we will stay again I'm sure.

My room was clean and had everything I needed. It was very hot and there was a fan in the wardrobe.||Rob the host was extremely helpful ||My room was downstairs, as I am disabled and at the front, although I could hear the traffic, I slept wel on the comfortable bed. The welcome was warm, and we were allowed to leave bags in the room early. We returned to the room at 3.30pm and the heating wasn't on, and although we were back quite early the room never really warmed up to be comfortable and it went off again at 10pm.
The room looked a bit dated, but the bed was comfortable. There were cobwebs and dust and at a price of £90 I expected more. The breakfast (included) was excellent, and the choices on offer were great. All in all there were good and bad points, but it wasn't a £90 room.

The room was to a very high standard with an ensuite shower/toilet. The units in the bathroom were again to a high standard. Breakfast choice was very good. Warm welcome and
service without being intrusive. Only criticism was the blind in bedroom didn't fully drop and being only 4ft.11inches tall the mirrors in the bathroom were too high.

I was given room 8 for my stay and due to the 'Covid19' situation', I didn't have to share facilities, so that was a great bonus. The rooms were very clean, too.||||There was an extensive breakfast choice and good quality fresh coffee (not instant!). Quality of food was excellent.||||Very friendly and accommodating hosts. I look forward to returning.
