Liked: Such a peaceful, pretty little site with excellent facilities. Being next to the airfield was cool, watching the planes, gliders and skydivers. Too far for us on a regular basis but would definitely stay again if in the area.

Disliked: I love sites that have a separate car park but more/better wheel barrows would have been good for moving the stuff around.

Liked: Parking away from the tent made the stay even more relaxing and the kids found the wheelbarrows an added fun game to start the weekend! Then the little pathway to our own tent cul-de-sac with wild areas to keep us seperare added to the peace and adventure. A great location and the skydivers and planes added entertainment. The facilities were excellent and clean. The walk round the airfield to the local pub was excellent too! A really relaxing time, thank you

Disliked: We would have found a communal fridge more useful than freezer.

Great campsite! Very clean facilities, lovely views. Very quiet midweek then got busier at the weekend but still plenty of space. Loved watching the skydivers - don’t be put off by the airfield next door, planes are all very small and it’s fun to watch them take off!

Liked: Lovely secluded site. Pitches nicely defined with long grass so felt well spaced. Clean and well looked after facilities. Hot showers. Great for kids to watch the parachuters during the day too. Plenty of space. We will be visiting again.

Disliked: Would be nice if drinking water was labelled on taps for reassurance.

Liked: I absolutely love this site, this was my 4th visit. It’s quite close to where I live so ideal for a night of total relaxation. The pitches are huge and feel really private because of the space and also the unmowed sections in between. You can watch the planes and gliders taking off from the nearby airfield and see parachutes coming down. The amenities are spotless and well-maintained. Good phone signal too!

Disliked: No dislikes!!

Liked: Great and beautiful secluded location being next to the airfield, loved seeing the planes and gliders coming and going (they don’t go on late and aren’t annoying!). The site is well thought out and well kept, I’d definitely go back again.
Good basic facilities which are kept clean, lovely hot water too!

Liked: Nice peaceful setting, until lights out time…
The site itself is set back from the house and has everything you need, the showers were hot and clean and the toilets and washing up facilities were well kept. The car park isn’t far from the site and not having the cars parked by the tents actually gave it a better feel. The ‘drop off’ zone isn’t far from the pitches and even though wheel barrows were supplied, we didn’t need them as our pitch was close enough to carry everything. Me and my boys loved our time here.

Disliked: There were a couple or groups that ignored the lights out at 11pm rule as they didn’t have young kids. Plus there was a festival/event in one of the other fields on the site that was going on until gone midnight, which kept us awake….
None of this would have been a problem if I was visiting as an adult group or had teenagers, but as a young family (7 & 10 yo boys) this wasn’t ideal

Liked: The pitches are flat and spaced out.
The facilities were clean and very well kept with soap and hand towels.
It was a lovely stay with a campfire
