Excellent welcome on arrival and at reception. Everything explained to help us throughout our stay. Room excellent, bathroom good. All very clean and bed comfortable. Easy to use heating system. Food great and entertainment very good. We joined in with quizzes, other activities were on offer but we were happy to relax and either watch or spend time chatting, playing card games, reading and chilling out in very comfy chairs. Great you can order drinks/snack from waiters/waitresses. All staff including in house entertainment team we so willing to help and always smiling. Such a lovely place to explore rooms throughout castle also beautiful grounds at Studley Castle. Really only needed to say we had a fabulous stay and will be returning for our 3rd break there.

From start to finish everything was wonderful. Was for adults only, which I've never been to before, but now our kids are older. I definitely appreciated swimming without being hit with a ball. Once your allocated your table for dinner, you stay at the same place for the evening shows and waiters come and take your drinks order.

A Wonderful Stay with Excellent Service

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff were incredibly helpful, setting the tone for the entire stay. This level of service extended to all staff members, who went out of their way to assist and ensure a great experience.

One evening, we had booked a table at the brasserie, but the online system lost our reservation. Thankfully, Anna at the brasserie’s grill was quick to accommodate us, finding a spot despite the mix-up.

The entire venue, including the rooms, was spotless—cleanliness was clearly a top priority. Both breakfast and evening meals were consistently excellent, with the brasserie standing out in particular. Overall, we’d rate the dining experience a solid 9/10.

Entertainment was well-organized and enjoyable, thanks to a great compare and staff. The silent disco was a highlight, and activities like archery and shooting were great fun—well-structured and run by staff who were clearly customer-focused.

Drink prices were in line with a good pub for beer, but wine and spirits felt a little pricey. Coffee, unfortunately, was a major letdown—far from barista standard and barely drinkable (1/10). Best to skip it.

One thing to note: the majority of guests are over 60, especially during the week. That said, most were lively and added to the pleasant atmosphere.

Overall, a fantastic stay with top-notch service, great food, and well-run entertainment. Just avoid the coffee!

I booked us in For anniversary weekend and just WOW absolutely brilliant from start to finish to finish. Check in was very smooth we got room 144, fresh milk plenty of tea/coffee and biscuits.|Amazing views cannot fault a thing. Staff were amazing and love that you are allocated a table throughout your stay ❤️ entertainment is first class staff are amazing from cleaning staff to top, cannot do enough for you special thanks to Luke fantastic bar/service but all were just as fab. Already looking to book another weekend. Well done and thank you for a memorable weekend

Fabulous! Stunning hotel inside and outside, bursting with character. Lovely rooms, lovely staff. The leisure and entertainment team are wonderful, they put on so many activities, there wasn't a moment to get bored. Archery, laser pistol, quizzes, bean bag games, even art classes using coffee as paint! Very good singers before and after dinner plus a very good show on stage. Can't recommend enough.

Having stayed at Studley Castle 3 times Previously with my girlfriends.|I thought it was time for my hubby to take a trip.|Celebrating an “0” birthday ,I contacted the hotel direct.|Spoke with a lovely lady called Christine.|Christine told me some offers. We booked the Castle Suite 007.|Perfect. From booking in, to leaving I felt very everything was just perfect.|Everything felt warm and cosy. The staff were pleasant ,friendly,knowledgable , and loved to treat you like they knew you.|Meals excellent , waiting staff ,bar staff were wonderful.|Ellie who was our server was exceptionally kind and helpful, staff are so hard working ,but always had time for the guests. We hope that the bosses no and appreciate how hard the staff work to make such a pleasant environment.|Clean, so comfortable and relaxing.|Had spa treatments . |The spa area is so relaxing and friendly.|Pool and area very well maintained. |So lovely I am returning next week with my girlfriends.|Well done Studly staff.|10/10

The full review is on on the Warner Hotel - Studley Castle review site. The standard Studley bedroom was sumptuous with amazing country views. We experienced a dining room which was perfectly set out , with waiters, who, not only were friendly and unhuried, but listened and spoke politely to whatever you may have to say. The meals were buffet style, unhurried and wide ranging. We chose the breakfast and evening meals, but one could pay for aditional food at various bars and rooms scattered around this large historical hotel. There was full stage entertainment immediately after the evening meal. Warners is a large oranisation, who know how to look after their young and older guests throughout the day,
