We recently stayed a night in the New Room en route further north. It was beautiful weather so we loved wandering in the grounds and being able to go for a lovely walk along the river before dinner. The views from the room’s large windows were stunning and we had everything we needed in our large, comfortable and quiet room. A nice touch was the provided pair of binoculars so we could birdwatch from the comfy sofa. We had a very good dinner and cooked to order breakfast too. We did not have a dog with us, but we found virtually everyone else did, even in the dining room, and everything was very dog friendly. All in all a very pleasant stay, like being a guest in a family home.

Stayed here for a couple of days during a holiday road trip and getting married in Gretna. Absolutely stunning location, beautiful hall and grounds. Right next to the river. Stunning. Amazing friendly staff. Awesome suite with all mod cons and beautiful views. Dog friendly hotel which was great for us. Food absolutely incredible too!!! Can’t wait to come back.

Warwick Hall is a place to retreat from the world and be hosted with simple elegance. We were greeted and shown tomorrow room with gracious hospitality. An honest bar is provided in the library. Dinner and breakfast were simple and excellent. The staff was kind and went the extra mile to ensure our food and lodging was up to expectation. There are beautiful walking trails by the river and an outdoor garden to retreat to. I highly recommend this spot.

Liked: Very informal - just pitch up and select your bay. A well kept area- tranquil, beautiful and very relaxed. Lovely area to walk through the park and down by the river. If you are lucky like we were you might see deer grazing, fish jumping and a succession of mother ducks herding and leading their ducklings out of the river. The simple amenities adds to the experience - enjoy.

Disliked: Nothing. The description on the internet site is accurate in every way. .

Liked: The beautiful surroundings, great riverside walk. Myself and my husband in our motorhome and my sister and partner in their motorhome were the only other booking on the night we stayed so we had the site to ourselves. The weather was perfect. Would definitely stay here again

The lady of the house was welcoming and said there was a walk from the house along the river, she kindly showed me 2 rooms as we had friends arriving later. | We had the New room, with great views over the river.| Very clean and tidy and the bed and bedding was very comfortable. |Our Weimaraner could just look out of the windows and watch the world go by. |The Halls dog is called boots (pointer) and is very friendly and shares beautifully.|There is a tennis court to use which is a nice touch. |We sat down to dinner and the Hall kindly accommodated us in a separate dinning room so that we could relax with our dog, they went above and beyond and again at breakfast. |Only comment is I thought there might have been fruit juice or fruit out on the self service area for breakfast.|I would have no hesitation in recommending Warwick Hall, if you are looking for a friendly peaceful cosy period property, with a modern twist. ||Thank you from the Comlay’s

This is a gem! My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The whole place is a delight, from the relaxed atmosphere, the thoroughly engaging owner, the warm and friendly staff, the lovely meals, the beautiful setting of the house and gardens, the convenient location. It is perfectly located for us, and for many others, as a stop-over on the way to Scotland. We have used airbnb's for this in the past - no longer!

Liked: beautiful and peaceful . Only room for 3-4 motor homes / campers which is perfect .
Singly quaint pub up in the village serving high quality food .
Spotless toilet and facilities . We loved it so much we are going to stop again on our return from Outer Hebrides .
