What a wonderful place Washingford is! And what a fantastic host is Paris! The house itself is gorgeous: lovely and homely inside, with beautiful extensive gardens outside. A tranquil, relaxing and restorative air to it all. And Paris could not be more welcoming: she's a delightful host - immensely warm and friendly, she put us at ease within seconds of meeting her, and had the great knack of making us feel completely at home. Her breakfasts are absolutely delicious, too! We felt completely at ease lazing in the garden, then pedalling off on our bikes to enjoy the quiet countryside.

The most beautiful and relaxing Country home to stay in. Paris and Nigel are the best hosts ever - so warm, so welcoming and they immediately make you feel like you are simply their friends staying with them for the weekend and not B and B clients! ||We had a stunningly gorgeous room with the comfiest of beds and huge ensuite bathroom, oodles of hot water and fresh fluffy towels. We then headed downstairs to the most yummy of breakfasts prepared by Paris. The gardens are gorgeous and the surrounding countryside perfect for long walks. We came back to a roaring fire and felt truly relaxed and at home. I can honestly say this is the best B and B I have ever stayed in. Thank you Paris and Nigel.

This was the most recent of several visits over the past eleven years - see my previous reviews. We stayed for four nights, and it was simply like being at home again! ||Paris is such a welcoming and helpful person - nothing is too much trouble for her. The whole house has a delightful atmosphere - books everywhere, fresh flowers in the rooms, family photographs all around. The rooms are comfortably furnished and the bathrooms are spacious, with plenty of room to move around in them. ||Breakfast is delicious, with cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, toast, and whatever cooked food you can manage! ||The house is surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful countryside.||Highly recommended on all fronts.

We have been to many B&BS over the years but this is our number one. Paris not only rescued our holiday but gave us the warmest welcome into her glorious home. Everything is just perfect, the house and gardens spectacular, the rooms light and spacious, comfy beds and good duvets! We enjoyed bike rides locally as well as a farm shop, tho not much need for lunch after a delicious breakfast made to order form local ingredients. Paris, you have nailed it! Thank you again for sharing your home.

Paris was a superb and friendly hostess; the other guests were lovely too. The area was peaceful and beautiful. We went cycling and explored the rivers. Visited Bacon exhibition at Sainsburys Centre, also recommended by Paris. We strolled through the gardens, played the piano and played with the gorgeous little dog.We had a memorable time. I endorse all the good comments previously made

There is an instant rapport with Paris, who is simply delightful. Funny, witty and welcoming. Breakfast is continental with yoghurt cereals and fruit, followed by a cooked breakfast and if you still have room, then marmalade and toast. ||||I’m a vegetarian and was instantly catered for both at breakfast and the evening meal, we took on day 3 of our 5 night stay. I have to mention here, both the homemade orange ice cream (to die for) and orange biscuits and shortbread - which your generous hostess may freshly baked occasionally, as an evening treat. ||||Husband Nigel is an excellent host and will explain any details of their house and garden that you may wish to know. Norfolk terrier Tess is always on hand too, to meet and greet when the occasion arises.||||Peace and tranquility abound at this wonderful B&B, we shall be going again!

A super place to stay to enjoy and bury oneself in the country yet be close to Norwich and the coast. Paris and Nigel could not have been more welcoming, the food could not have been more delicious and our bedroom could not have been more comfortable right down to fresh flowers every day. There is ample parking and the facility to play tennis not to mention cycling and walking. Thank you for our stay, we have returned home energised and can't wait to come back again!
