Loved this place when it first opened. However, they’ve now decided that dogs are only allowed in a non air-conditioned area outside the main cafe. Such a shame to be segregated when the cafe is in a garden centre. The service is also painfully slow as there’s only one person serving. However, staff are lovely and food is great (I have a 5 star review before) but unfortunate that it’s not as dog friendly as before, and won’t be returning.

After my last lunchtime visit to the cafe which was disappointing I decided to try again and have breakfast, the lady who took my order was very nice, said hello and was cheerful, I ordered the watering can breakfast which I was looking forward to as I had not eaten since lunchtime the previous day. When it arrived the plate was greasy where the obliterated egg was which I had ordered 'covered' it was flattened and broken and not at all nice to look at, the bacon was also greasy and so overcooked. It looked like it had been sitting for some time and was tough to cut.
Will I try a third visit ?

Really nice place. Lovely decor, staff were friendly, breakfast was lovely & hot. The chocolate cake though was the real highlight - truly scrumptious! Really welcoming family atmosphere.

we are from doncaster visiting relatives and always come to the watering can cafe for breakfast it is gorgeous, bacon, eggs, beans, mushrooms, Tom's and crunchy hash brown all lovely but their sausages (gluten free) are brilliant, highly recommended, place is air condioned, separate area for dogs, very friendly staff, can wait to come again, till next time ?

This coffee shop is located in a garden centre, hence it is convenient if you want to buy some plants and have a cup of coffee. Overall this is not a bad place, there again it's nothing special either. Having said that I don't want to diss this too much as I had a fine coffee and my egg on toast was good. I will be more than happy to return.

It is a friendly stop for cyclists. The coffee is hot and strong. The food is pretty average but service is reasonably quick even when they are busy. There is amble space to leave bikes and keep an eye on them while in the cafe.

Scrambled eggs on toast were very good, nice bread! Flat white, nice and hot, not to much froth and a good coffee, nice and strong!
Very friendly staff also a loyalty scheme on hot drinks.
At time of dining, Scrambled eggs (3) on toast = £3.50, flat white = £2.30 a total of £5.80 for my lunch, not bad I say GVFM!
