Just enjoyed a lovely week stay in Sycamore Lodge.|Great facilities within the Lodge that made it a home from home including a recently installed shower.|Hosts are lovely, welcoming and friendly. Each time we spoke they asked if there were any issues. The only issue we had was with regards to the WiFi, we did have 8 devices, and they were able to boost it.|Lovely quiet location with woodland to the rear that my children loved to go play in.|We enjoyed being able to sit and have a cuppa out the front and to watch the squirrels running around without a care.|Local amenities are within a short car ride and within lovely surroundings.||Would definitely recommend a stay here and fully intend on staying again in the future.

We are staying in 1 of the cottages and it is our last night. Spacious rooms and good facilities. Cottage has washing machine, oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle. A new shower has recently been installed in the cottage we are staying in. Lovely woodland on the property that can be⁸ explored
Owners are very friendly and helpful
Location is a bit out of the way but it's nice and peaceful and calm. Shops are within a short car journey.
Would definitely recommend a stay here

My husband and I stayed 3 nights in Oak Lodge. We had previously had a week's holiday here (October 2022), so it had the advantage of familiarity, as well as being a convenient place to stay, within easy reach of family who live near Calne. We had a very enjoyable pre-Christmas weekend with our family, but were grateful to have a place of our own to spend nights. Oak Lodge was warm and comfortable, and Jonathon and Lesley are welcoming and friendly hosts.

We stayed in Oak Lodge for 7 nights as a family with an elderly dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Oak lodge was the perfect base for days out in Bath, Bathampton, Lacock and several stunning walks nearby. The place is surrounded by beautiful countryside and the 12 acres of woodland behind the lodges are perfect if you have a more active dog. The view from the lodge is lovely. There is parking for around two cars per lodge. ||||The lodge itself is quite basic but comfortable, homely and has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The living/kitchen/dining area is open plan and perfect for socialising. The sofas are very comfortable and we enjoyed our evenings. The only improvements could be to upgrade the mattress in one of the double bedrooms and the tap valve in the shower. ||||Hosts Jonathon and Lesley are very friendly and we were greeted with a warm welcome. We felt very at home at Wayside and would love to come back again in the future!

We all throughoughly enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and relaxed and Oak lodge was very comfortable. Free WiFi access to keep my teenagers happy too. The owner made us feel very welcome on arrival, and was very pleasant to talk to at any other time. A great spot to unwind and explore, and close to Devizes, Melksham and Chippenham, and even Bath is just over 30 minutes away. Would stay again.||The only negative is that the internal doors to the bedrooms had warped slightly and were difficult, but not impossible, to close.

Set in a very tranquil location with good road access. It is conveniently located for Chippenham, Corsham, Melksham, and Devizes.
The room is clean and comfortable. The decor is a little dated, but it is in tidy condition and functional, and (as previously stated) clean. The room has tea, coffee, and hot chocolate making facilities as well as a microwave if needed.
I was met by the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming.
I recommended a stay.

This lodge really needs updating and a good clean lplug socket coming off the wall. Lovely surroundings good you can bbq. Carpey stained if you're going to be pet friendly and possinlby wooden floors might be more hygienic. Lovely friendly couple

Beautiful location, very relaxing with balcony overlooking the fields. Very friendly welcome and flexible over arrival and breakfast time. Very large and comfortable room with bath and shower. Ideal for couples, business stopover and for relaxed getaway. Highly recommend.
