Stayed on the 1 night 2 rounds golf break.|The clubhouse was light and comfortable with nice view of the course and drinks were reasonably priced.|The evening meal was very nice. The breakfast buffet was good. We also had a light lunch after our round on the second day, which was Gamon and chips which was way more than we were expecting.|All the staff were super friendly and went beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay.|The rooms were fine. They shower was a bit difficult to work out. ( keep turning it right it stops the comes on again hot)|The golf course itself was in good condition and playable for all abilities.|There's a lot of ditches across a lot of the holes which give lots of options of how to play the holes.|It rained a lot overnight so on the second day 2 or 3 of the greens had standing water on the but were still playable. |We're a society of golfers, who do 3 of these type breaks a year and this is easily the best value for money one we've do so far.

But the best part was the breakfast where the staff really outshines.

And as a bonus we get to see golfers outside doing their thing 🤣🤣

It's a good location out of Maidstone, but you need a car.

If you can't drive, finding or getting to this place will be a challenge. The area/location is nice, just beyond the village of Leeds (no name connection to the larger, northern Leeds), but it's quite remote. The rooms were nice but our air conditioning/heating unit didn't work, and the walls were quite thin.

A great value for money stay. I stayed in a Luxury Room next to the Golf Club upstairs, which may be a bit steep if you have any physical mobility issues. The room large and clean. Really well proportioned room with armchairs, fridge, and good size TV.|Restaurant was good, menu in the evening offered a reasonable selection, curry night was very good value for money. Breakfast is great value, huge selection and really good cooked options. I stayed on a B&B basis and found it value for money.|Do be prepared that you are staying in a Golf Club so lots of visiting player groups, who can be a bit boisterous, however I found it all quite entertaining.|Overall staff excellent, particularly in the bar and restaurant and housekeeping!|It was a great base to do the things I wished to visit over three days.|Great value for money.|Thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed here for two nights in July when attending a family funeral nearby. The surroundings were very pleasant. The hotel block is set away from the hotel reception, clubhouse and bar. ||On first glance the room looked fine but we soon found a number of issues. There was no milk provided on the tea tray. The general level of cleaning was terrible. The bathroom pedal bin and shower controls hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The bath panel was coming away from the bath. The tile grout was blackened and there was a gap between the tiles and the silicone sealant. No soap was provided for the wash-hand basin. There was a dispenser for hair and body wash but it was placed so high up on the wall over the bath that I couldn’t reach it from the ground. ||Our view from the window was of a fence and a bonfire pile, not the lovely greens and lake in the photos. The window frame opening was absolutely filthy and full of spider webs, the net curtains were frayed and there were even cobwebs on the curtains inside too. The drawer for our clothes was dusty inside and one bedside light had no bulb in it. The beds and linen were fine however.||In the restaurant our ‘reserved’ table for dinner had food crumbs on the floor under it and the glasses were not clean. It was also very cold as they had the air/con on full pelt, quite unnecessarily (we were the only people in there). I asked three times for it to be turned up/off. The food was however very good and staff were pleasant. Breakfast was ok too, though very little choice of cereal unless you like muesli. We didn’t eat there the second night. We didn’t venture into the bar area as it was quite noisey with all the golfers and locals.| |It did not feel like a hotel should. It seemed to me to be just an add-on to their existing golf business. I got the impression it is used mainly by tradesmen/salesmen etc. working in the area. We would not go there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else based on our experience.

What a wonderful experience,, no complaints at all.
4 stars for location only because of the poor bus routes. If you are arriving at the train station late it's best to pre book a taxi as there is no / little uber service in the area. We were lucky to get one of the last taxies working from the station taxi office.

The course is in really good condition and is really challenging for all levels. There are some well placed hazards ditches, bunkers and ponds.|The hotel is very basic but it was very clean. I found the staff very friendly and competent on the whole there was a pleasant atmosphere provided by the staff who were very polite and accommodating.|Dinner was very nice but the menu was quite small, breakfast was fantastic. Couldn’t fault any of the food we had.|Only negative is it doesn’t have a pool hot tub or sauna |Apart from that it was a fantastic break |Highly recommended

We went for a quick 9 holes and supper from the bar menu. The course is well kept with attention paid to drainage. There is something for everyone on the menu.
