Stayed for a wedding, it was nice. The wedding and reception was beautiful and the food was lovely both on the day and the evening before. The staff and organisation was lovely.

I was a tad disappointed with not allowing any of the wedding guests to check in before 1500 when the wedding was at 1300, I’m sure something could have been done for that.

The rooms are nice and a big size, they are clean and well stocked. The shower heads need a bit of attention but in all it was a lovely stay.

The pool is nice, could warn customers to bring flip flops though as there’s a little walk from the changing room via the reception to the pool.

The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. The staff were polite and efficient. I’d recommend this place to others.

There are lots of stairs to get to your room so if you’re not so mobile please make this very clear on booking.

Very dated building that really needs updating cleaning will not be enough , I really expected a lot more from a spa hotel, definitely don't go there if you have mobility issues as quite a lot of stairs and odd levels . We had breakfast on two occasions and both buffet breakfasts were sub standard. The saving grace for this hotel was the staff which at all times were excellent.

What a fantastic place to have a wedding. The Webbington is a beautiful venue in an amazing location with friendly, attentive and exceptionally polite staff where nothing is too much trouble. Scarlett, the wedding coordinator does an amazing job and made us all feel like our daughter’s wedding was as important to her as it was to us. The whole day was seamless and everything was so organised, the food was amazing and several of our guests said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. Lots of the guests, including ourselves stayed the night of the wedding and we were all impressed with the rooms, food and facilities. Many guests had the opportunity to use the pool and spa facilities and absolutely loved it. We would highly recommend The Webbington for a lovely hotel stay and especially as a wedding venue. |Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful wedding experience.

Somewhat disappointed. The main building seems lovely. We had intended to use the spa on the afternoon of arrival followed by dinner, but on enquiring about dinner when I called the night before our stay, I was told that due to a private function, there would be no meals available after 6pm. This hotel was in the middle of the countryside - we had been aiming for a relaxing stay. So we decided to eat elsewhere before checking in, and since we were leaving in the morning, we had no opportunity to use the spa, despite this being the main intention when we paid for the rooms. The breakfast was nice in the morning - buffet style. Would have liked to have other options for eggs other than just scrambled. The block where we were staying had a strange odour, and my room looked over the room where the private function was. This was quite noisy until midnight. The room’s decor was dated, and it was on the small side, but serviceable.

I imagine it would be an ideal place to stay to attend the private function, provided you don’t find the smell off-putting, but if going for a relaxing weekend with the intention of eating there and using the spa, check if there is a private function before booking (I can see more were planned)… For the purpose of our trip, I wish we’d booked something like a premier inn close to where we ended up spending the day, due to lack of dinner availability. Rather than driving for 45 minutes to stay in a small room listening to a disco.

We got married here in November 2024, and had such a special day. All the staff were so warm and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic value for money as well, everything was so organised and the venue was spotless. Scarlett was a great point of contact and really helped the day run smoothly.||Special thanks also to Martina (duty manager) for being excellent too - She helped with some of our pre-wedding meetings and was there on the day to oversee everything. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the venue for couples looking for a warm, intimate hotel nestled in the Somerset countryside.

The hotel and rooms were a bit tired unfortunately but we had a lovely stay. For the price we paid we were very fortunate to get a spa hotel on the weekend but if the hotel put a bit more money into it the place would be fantastic. There was plenty of parking and the staff were wonderful! We went to the bar in the evening where the staff were happy to make us a filter decaffeinated coffee and we also had the breakfast in the morning

Fantastic hotel, Great value. Up there in the top 1 or 2 for gym equipment and facilities I've seen.
Location is good and staff are friendly.
Very nice food too.
Dated but comfortable room with a view.
Would definitely come back again.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food very good. Spa excellent.|It was very cold and rooms were not kept warm. Coats had to be worn in the bar and restaurant. It would have been lovely if the open fire in the library had been lit but it was not. The entire place could do with a face lift - it is exactly the same as when I visited about 8 years ago. However, I would go again in the warmer weather - perhaps "shabby sheek" best describes it!
