If you’re looking for an up to date, modern site, this is not for you. It’s a little like stepping back in time when I started coming to holiday parks in the 80’s.|However, there is a lovely feeling of nostalgia and warmth here. I’ve revisited many parks over the years and this is the first one that has the same customer focus as I remember all those years ago. |The park including the accommodation is SPOTLESS! the staff are very friendly and helpful. The prices of food and drink are very reasonable and quite cheap for a holiday park. The food is of good quality. Nothing fancy just well cooked food and plenty of choice.|The best thing about our stay was without doubt the entertainment!! What a team. I’ve seen so many over the years and these guys are theatre worthy. Great voices, very professional and funny. |I really wasn’t sure what to expect with this park as it was just a short break from the house but we were very pleasantly surprised. |Great place!

We’ve just came home from spending a week at Welcome and I want to go back already! |I visited with my 2 children and my partner and we had the best time. |Welcome is located in a perfect holiday location with the seaside a small 5 minute walk away which is a favourite of ours! |Our caravan was right next to the entertainment and it was clean, spacious and very comfortable to stay in. |Parking was never a problem we always found a spot. |The main thing that was our favourite was the shows in the evening! The team there are absolutely amazing. Mark definitely knows how to put on a show. They were so friendly and welcoming. |They have bingo on between 8 - 9 and during this they open the kids club which was perfect for my daughter. She absolutely loved it. |The drinks and food are reasonably priced and a lot to offer too. And it’s never too busy which was perfect. |The only thing that was a bit annoying was the internet and signal. Only one person from the family can log into the WiFi and everyone else has to pay. The signal is okay ish in the caravan but I had no signal whatsoever in the entertainment which was a bit annoying. ||Definitely will be coming back!!

I could write a whole essay on what an amazing experience me and my family (2 adults and 3 kids 12, 8 and nearly 2) but to short and simply put it, it is a home away from home.||We stayed in a Wavesurf bungalow and t was perfect for our needs and we found no fault anywhere. Sure it may be a little 'out dated' but thst juat made me personally love it more, if like me you grew up with your grandparents near the sea then being somewhere like that at Dawlish gives that nostalgia feel which I needed with my grandad not long passing and my Nan is in France visiting extended family. ||I moved to the Midlands and come to visit family in Devon, our Welcome stay for 7 nights was great value than staying at a Premier Inn! Which we have to do now being a big family and no space at family homes. And you get so much included like access to the pool and entertainment day and evening for the kids! My daughters absolutely loved the Starlight team and their shows. The amusement section they have in the club is perfect and I'd say easy to win a few goodies which really makes the kids feel excited they achieved something. A couple pound goes a long way! The two brothers manning the arcades were lovely and kind.||We definitely can't wait to stay again and hopefully make this a regular thing. I always saw it growing up and driving by to go to the Dawlish Warren amusements and so happy we booked it as a October half term treat! Lovely staff throughout and reception staff brilliant and hands on with any enquiries.

Another fab holiday at Welcome Family. We have stayed here on and off since 1983. 3 times a year since 2013. We love it here and try to book the same Casamigo lodge if possible. Even though this is directly behind the club I can honestly say we have never been disturbed by noises from the club even at closing time. The lodge is really comfortable and big enough to house our large, white, boisterous german shepherd. It is close enough to the beach for us to walk the dog down 3-4 times day. The reception staff are really pleasant and helpful. We don't use the club as we have the dog and realise that is included in the cost. It is worth the extra for us as the park suits our needs. It is all on the flat and has Gerald's opposite and Sainsbury's a short drive away. There are lots of places to eat and several takeaways nearby. Our favourite is the Mei Lai about a mile away. I have already booked 3 separate weeks for 2025.

Great place for your English holiday. Caravans are really good and nice warm when weather is not good. Great entertainment on the evenings, kids club too so you can enjoy a game of bingo or some child free time at the bar. Good range of drinks and plenty for the kids to do in the club house too

I haven't stayed here since i was a little girl and to be honest i was a little worried about some of the negative reviews. No need. We booked pet friendly caravan and was very pleased - it was spotless! ||We arrived in early evening so had to collect keys from the Starlight club. A nice, friendly chap gave us our pack and explained where the caravan was etc. Nice and easy. Linen was in the caravan for us.||We were situated in the middle of the park. The week we chose (w/c 19/09) , the site was very quiet with mainly just older couples and dogs so it has a lovely peaceful feel. There was plenty of parking close by but could see how it would be a bit chaotic during the busier season where everyone is wanting to park right outside their door! The site was very clean and tidy with friendly staff saying hello when they went past. ||As mentioned, the caravan was very clean, not even a single mark on the glasses. The toilet 'cupboard' shape and size caused some amusement but it 'functions' surprisingly well when you come to use it 🙂 The shower was ok but if any other ladies have long, thick hair to wash it may take a bit longer than usual as its definitely not a power shower.||Trains, you can hear them slightly but as we were in the middle of the park, noise wasn't a big deal and didn't interrupt sleep at all.||Nothing to do with the site but we did notice that pretty much everything closed by 8-9pm at this time of year (expect Gerald's, Mount Pleasant and Lees bar) so you are extremely limited for food etc past this time. Last orders for food is 8pm at the Boathouse for example. For breakfast i can recommend the mushroom farm.||Had a really lovely few days here and will certainly return as soon as we can. Thank you

We stayed in a sandsurf bungalow as we took our daughters dog with us. It was clean and of a good size. Could do with updating as windows are wooden and only single glazed. The door to the outside had a gap all the way around so when the wind blew it made the living area cold and draughty. The kitchen had a very battered fridge/freezer that was also rusty. There was an automatic air freshener that was going off regular even through the night which was a pain. |More positive was the lovely welcome we received and the bathroom had been updated. The heated towel rail was a bonus. There are plenty of poo bins everywhere you walk which encouraged everyone to pick up after their dog.|The whole site was very well looked after with plenty of various trees and shrubs everywhere you went which was very nice to see. Kept spotlessly clean. Cant comment on the pool or entertainment as didnt use. |The location was handy to beach a short level walk away and the local shops and pubs. Would return but stay in different accommodation

Great stay! Clean lodge, well kept grounds and lovely staff. Played bingo in the club in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only grumble is the beds were too hard and very uncomfortable and the pillows were past their best and need replacing. Other than that, great week away.
