Lovely staff and very clean decent shower although very small bathroom yet decent sized room with very comfortable bed. Great hotel for the price charged and would visit again.

We stayed here over Easter. They had “rules” which some of which we could understand. 1 was quiet time between 9pm - 9am. People upstairs did not do quiet time. They were banging around for hours. We have 2 small children which struggled to sleep. The shower was awful! So both children didn’t shower whilst we stayed. They also tried taking £230 which is still pending today!!! So we had less money for the weekend!!
We will not be staying again

Great hotel, real value for money. Excellent location. Dog friendly, which is a real bonus. Clean, has everything you need to create a base for exploring all Great Yarmouth has to offer. Really, handy for all the amenities on the sea front. Housekeeping is excellent, room was cleaned every day. Definitely recommend.

Though room only Beach Hut 200yds down to promenade you can buy bacon butties to cooked breakfast at reasonable prices. Lunches too. Room was visited daily to replenish tea tray with lean cups, tea bags, chocolate drink coffee sugar biscuits. Pets are invited to stay too though limited to two dogs. Generally a really nice stay.

Great hotel, easy walk to beach and all the local attractions. Dogs welcome was a bonus. Staff were lovely. Only things to mention is that a couple of extra power outlets would have been nice, and an additional bedside table for resting drinks on.

I like to support small businesses and decided on this one on our trip to Great Yarmouth. The host was very accommodating and would do whatever she could for you. The room was very clean and I do notice dirty rooms. The only gripe I would have is the drains had a slight smell after a shower. We were lucky to be on the top floor at the front (Room 35) and had a great view out to the sea.

I would definitely recommend

My wife says the bathroom was too small but personal I would rather have a bigger room and small shower.

The owner comes round in the morning about 10ish asking if everything is ok and tops up your refreshments including biscuits and bottled water. Also stocks up on toilet roll and shower gels ect.

I enjoyed my stay here very much. My room was adequate for myself and my dog and it was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a double. The room was cleaned every day and the beverage choice was replenished daily too.
Nothing was too much trouble and were very helpful with everything. I would definitely book there again.

We stayed at the Wellesley this week and had a very enjoyable stay. We arrived early after travelling from Northumberland and the lovely owner Anna had our rooms ready and we were able to check in. This hotel is absolutely immaculate, very clean. The ground floor family room is spacious and there is an abundance of tea/coffee/biscuits. Fresh bottles of water daily. Fresh towels daily. ||The hotel is situated one street back from the Main Street and beach, which is a 5 minute walk, so nice and quiet. Bring dog friendly is an absolute godsend for us, so this was a fantastic bonus to the hotel. ||Anna (owner) is very friendly and obliging and is happy to help with anything you need. ||We would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely book to stay again.
