Not a particularly friendly welcome, and because we hadn’t booked we were ‘sent’ upstairs. Which wasn’t a problem but it came across as second best.
Hot drinks very expensive considering they are only from a machine where you press a button. Coffee was tasteless.
Food was tasty but let down by the big plastic containers that everyone shared for tomato sauce and mayonnaise.
Dogs welcome which was nice.

Popped in while out with a few other motorbikes. What a find. Great food, fantastic service and a lovely setting.

We had a pair of troughs and a few other breakfast items - the food was great - nice portions and good prices compared to other places in the area. Lots of parking too. We arrived at 9.30 on a Sunday and it was quiet - by 10.30 it was busy - they take bookings too.

A true 5⭐️find - top notch service too.

Very nice food and service. We booked a table which I would recommend as not very big. Also, Saturday 7th, good job I telephoned in advance as lunches were not being served as they were doing 25 afternoon teas. Lovely macaroni cheese.

Lovely little tearoom set within the idyllic countryside of East Sussex. There was a good menu to choose. I can personally recommend the fish finger sandwich. The tearoom is a great place to relax as its location is very quiet. Service was second to none and very friendly. Outdoor seating is available, which is great when weather the decides to behave itself. An additional bonus is that dogs are allowed. Highly recommended

Lovely Cafe! Staff were so friendly and the tea room is very charming and pretty! The food was delicious. Our little boy loved his home made breakfast. The avocado on toast had so much flavor and the trough breakfast my husband has was also delish! The staff were so friendly and chatty. You could see they had regular customers and were always happy to help. We will be going back on Friday for a birthday breakfast before we leave for home from our lovely chichester break away ?

A real gem of a place, located in a beautiful part of West Sussex. Wellies Tearooms is a wonderful place for a spot of lunch. In the summer, you can also sit outside on the decking (A preferred spot for the passing cyclists). The menu (Featured in my pictures) has a nice selection and the food we’ve had here has always been top notch. On this occasion, we had items from the main lunch menu, plus a glass of bubbly to celebrate the festive season (not myself, as I was the designated driver). I would recommend this place to everyone, but if you turn up and it’s busy, don’t be surprised, but it’s worth the wait!

Beautiful little tea room set in the countryside. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Went for afternoon tea with some girlfriends and it was lovely. If I had one small criticism, there was too much sweet stuff in comparison to savoury, but everything we had was delicious.
