Lovely place, we went for Lewes bonfire and arrived late, Clare and Gavin were really friendly and helpful with check in arrangements and parking tips. The breakfast was delicious. The garden is lovely and there are horses and chickens kept in the yard outside. Would recommend staying here

A warm welcome by a lovely couple who couldn't have been more accommodating. The room was clean, nicely furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was spotless also, with a great shower. A fabulous restful night's sleep was followed by a large, very high quality breakfast, I mean as good as it gets. The eggs, cooked to perfection, were layed by their own chickens. Fantastic!!

We were only here for one evening but we're very impressed. Clean comfortable rooms and the most amazing breakfast. Clare was an excellent hostess. If we ever need a room in the area again we will certainly return to West Lodge.

This is an outstanding 5 star B&B.
The position, the views and the quality of the accommodation is equal, if not better, than a quality hotel.
The owner, Clare, is soo friendly and the breakfast is outstanding.
We have stayed at many quality hotels, around the world, but our experience here matched the best of them.
I would more than totally recommend West Lodge, you really won't be disappointed.

I spent one night at West Lodge B&B.||||The property is conveniently located in a quiet alley, as such offering both an undisturbed night rest and quick access to the main road.||||Upon arrival I could park my hired car safely on the premises.||||The room was very spacious, immaculately clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed and a large shower.||||English Breakfast was tasteful and plentiful, catering to anyone's needs.||||First and foremost however I recall the warmth, kindness and genuine hospitality shown by the hostess Clare. She helped me out really well at check in and we had a nice conversation in the morning. Such a caring and selfless character.||||I therefore warmly recommend West Lodge B&B and will certainly book again when in the area.

An excellent first class venue outside Hailsham. Comfortable bed, walk in shower and a full English breakfast with all the trimmings. The proprietor Clare is outstanding. Thoroughly recommended. the Thai Village restaurant in Hailsham is also worth a visit.

Two night stay. all very Covid secure, what a wonderful location, not far from the south coast. Fantastic welcome on arrival even from one of the horses.|| Claire, the most amazing hostess, delightful and interesting with nothing too much bother. Breakfast was amazing sensibly ordered the night before, the second morning we actually asked for less, fresh hot and delicious, double yoke eggs from the chickens just outside .. thanks chick chicks||Warm comfortable modern room with modern bathroom every where spotlessly clean. would we stay again? oh definitely YES.||its what a B&B should be

Clare and Gavin really looked after us with great facilities and a superb breakfast. We stayed here as we were at Glyndebourne and on arriving back from the event,the fan was on in our room as the day was very hot! Great little touches with lots of organic products. Well done!
