I booked online for 3 nights with our motorhome and was told to pay at the site. However I was not advised that the warden only accepts cash. We arrived on site with our and was shown 2 pitches to chose from. One was on a slope, the other was on the thoroughfare to the toilet block. We chose the 2nd pitch as it was flatter, however very uneven slabs to park the van on. We were so close to the toilets we could hear people having a shower and flushing the toilet. The toilet block itself was antiquated and the floor was filthy. There was no chemical waste disposal, we were told to use the gents toilet! Nor was there a grey waste disposal point for motorhomes. We were advised that there were plans afoot to knock down the antiquated toilet block and laundry and build a new one, and also to upgrade the touring pitches. This site would definitely benefit from an upgrade for tourers. The temporary warden Helen was very helpful however no-one who owns/runs the site was on site, the shop and reception was closed. I felt the £35/night we were charged was extremely over priced for this site. We only stayed 2 nights instead of the planned 3. On the upside, there were nice woodland walks from the site and it was a 10 minute walk into Comrie which is a lovely little village with a couple of hotels/pubs, cafes and quaint shops.

The estate was lovely and quiet with a nice woodland walk for the dogs. However the caravan itself was very old, the windows were very drafty, there was old lamps and ornaments about. The sofa was very worn and not clean, the plates were really outdated. There was only a few cups and glasses, no tin opener. The mattresses on the beds were very very springy, had back ache through the night and when got up. You could see the damp and dead skin in the shower cubicle. This caravan was not worth the money, when we booked it said we had booked the new larch caravan and showed photos of a different one so can imagine how disappointed we was. This bedroom is very small with no space to get changed at all. We won't be booking again unfortunately this wad not big enough at all for 3 adults and 2 dogs and the quality of the caravan was disgusting

Experienced the same disappointing standard as a previous poster. Flies in lighting housing and bin not emptied from previous use and crockery stained. It really put us off.I would hope the park would ensure they remedy the issues outlined from my recent complaint. Whilst I was disappointed, I will highlight that communication prior to our arrival was good and linen supplied were clean and fresh.

We stayed last minute as we were attending a wedding nearby. Booking was easy and painless.|We had 2 caravans both essentially the same. Was quite impressed with the oven and hob and particularly the shower. Caravan makes good use of limited space.|Also good to see that the communal shower/toilet blocks were clean and well looked after. Showers were especially good.

Booked months ago. Received an email a few weeks ago saying our reservation had been cancelled. I called immediately and was advised the cancellation was an error and that our booking was still in place. Left Peterborough at 10am and travelled 360 miles to arrive and be told we had no booking. Our booking was for three nights in a caravan at £350. This business's solution was to offer us a 'lodge' at £200 per night... the lodge was basically a glorified caravan that we were told we could not drink alcohol in or even COOK in, this was due to it being new and for sale. Thankfully we had family staying in an actual lodge on the park so we were able to sleep on their sofa bed the first night (which this business tried to charge our family extra for!) and then make alternative arrangements for the other two nights. The customer service was poor, we were made to feel like it was our fault this happened.... the last thing you need after traveling all day.

I would like to add that the member of staff on site, Helen, did everything she could to help us. Thank you, Helen.

Overall, an absolutely awful experience. I would rate ZERO STARS if I could.

Loved this location overlooking the hills and cabin was spotless. Kids loved the hottub in evening. Would love to come back in the better weather for the nearby walks surrounding.

Even though we were late the owner was available and was very helpful. The caravan was immaculate and very warm and comfortable. There was a super walk for our dog adjacent to the park and the location was pretty, with loads to do nearby. A really lovely caravan site.

We go up twice a year from cowdenbeath. Great nice and quiet site owners are superb. Short walking distance to shops and pubs. Rental caravans are spotless and well equiped. On site toilets are spotless and well kept. Great stocked shop on site an added bonus.
