Amie was a very helpful lady until she got carried away by her bosses the Chairman and Clerk, who are serial liars. They ensure the council is now guilty of breaking at least 8 laws, took a mere 25 years to even train their staff and councillors about the provisions of the SEVEN (Lord) Nolan Principles of public life, such as HONESTY, which the dubious duo of Chairman and clerk have broken all 7. This is a council which has a totally illegal complaints system, lies repeatedly in answer to Freedom of Information Act (2000) questions, has made me the subject of so many kangaroo courts,. They do not obey the Localism Act, sections 28 and 30. .They have a chairman who claims to be a Fellow of the RGS, when he is not. The current chairman and previous one are so bad that each has done enough to receive a lengthy prison sentence at Her Majesty's Pleasure. The Clerk has taken to DRUCES, a solicitors in London, when there are so many good solicitors locally. They do not declare the thousands they have spent on legal fees attempting to ban me from publicising their lies, etc.

A truly non-representational body for West Moors, self seeking, truly DIY council, i,e,. they all expect members of the public to do their jobs for them. I have a lot of work to do to get all the Government ombudsnmen and commissioners to act to replace them by commissioners to take over all 14 roles. Their annual meetings should be very worthwhile attending to see if they lie their way through them!

The council is a largely unelected body which performs its functions entirely to its own satisfaction. They have little idea of the needs of the local community nor do they appear to care.

I have to say that the staff at West Moors Town Council (especially Amie) went above and beyond helping me with the interment of my late Mum.
Exceptional service and very much appreciated. Thank you.
