Lovely looking cafe looking over the reservoir in an otherwise ropey part of town, however the service is dog slow. I wanted to but just one can of drink. There were 4 people in front of me and it took nearly 25 mins to get served. The till server had no idea how to process requests quickly when people are waiting. The queue went out the door. My back was seizing up. Soooo much faff serving complicated coffees and protracted food orders for simple sandwiches. Needs more staff with more experience. Potential to be a cracking little venue

Completely incompetent. Food service is almost non-existent when it gets even slightly busy. They have a petition to 'save the cafe' - I say good riddance, maybe new management will bring in competent kitchen staff.

Simple very reasonably priced cafe with great views over the reservoir. Lovely and peaceful on a week day afternoon. Plenty of space to sit on the terrace or inside on a wet day

A lovely cafe with delicious and very good value food and this incredible view. Just had two seabass and two soft drinks with a friend for £28 total and it was so fresh and beautifully seasoned. This is a hidden gem and the swimming looks stunning too.

Excellent meals, pleasant and attentive staff, restful location overlooking the water. Short distance to Woodberry Wetlands nature reserve. Clubs for sailing, canoeing and swimming on site.
