Beautiful camp site, warm welcome with friendly staff, with lots of information given, we wanted to move pitches after our first night and the staff were extremely accommodating! Everything was very clean and tidy and the site Is very peaceful. It’s very close drive to Grange over sands where they have a coop and Tesco express which was handy.

A very clean site, convenient for the rest of the lake district. A useful wooden hut on site with information about walking and trips out etc. The washing facilities spotless, waste points and recycling all very good. Very friendly and helpful staff would definitely go back.

We have just returned from a long weekend at Meathop Fell. Have stayed many times over the past 20 years as this is a lovely well positioned site. We have always enjoyed and this time even more so as noticed the site is the best it’s ever been kept. Spotlessly clean, grounds kept immaculate, lovely wardens and so much info in the information room. Looking forward to our next visit

Beautiful quiet clean well looked after site it’s was well signposted , and was so surprised at the cleanliness, and well maintained pitches , friendly helpful staff . It was perfect for exploring the south Lake District and also Yorkshire . Very easy to get there for us from Scotland |Would definitely recommend and would use again

We arrived in the dark, well sign posted.|The lovely lady on reception recommended pitches to us. She was right. We got the sun shine in the morning.|Great facilities, extremely clean and warm. |We were able to walk into Grange Over Sands, although the road at points was flooded.|Returning, we caught the bus, travelling 6 stops. Easy enough walk, stopping off at The Woodlands for a drink.|Definitely recommend, super friendly staff, great location.

Fantastic site. Wonderful setting and staff are some of the most welcoming encountered on any site. The site is maintained impeccably with great attention to detail in all aspects. A really quiet and relaxing site and beautiful views from many pitches.

Great campsite for motorhome all clean and tidy facilities.|The grounds are really well looked after with pretty planters.|This site has a great information room with lots of leaflets and info on walks and the local area. |Washing facilities and laundry on site although we didn’t use.|An hours walk into grange over sands from here .

Lovely caravan and motorhome site with beautiful views. Some pitches appear to be quite uneven but all the facilities are great. The help yourself herb garden is sweet and theres a mobile pizza/food hut on site that takes orders which is a brilliant and a handy asset.
