I recently attended a wedding here. I didn't stay in the accommodation so I couldn't rate that but the bride said her room was lovely. The venue is beautiful, perfect for an intimate wedding. There are plenty of seating areas and a lovely roaring fire. Although it is just off a busy road, you wouldn't know once you are inside. There are beautiful gardens for wedding pictures. The staff were all lovely and did a wonderful job of looking after the bride. A wonderful day!

My daughter got married here and had the reception too. Everything was well organised from the ceremony right through to the reception and beyond. Food was amazing, stayed overnight, rooms were comfortable and breakfast was delicious . Staff were very attentive.

Had our wedding day and reception here, not a single thing to fault.|From first communication of wanting to book to clearing up the next morning after the wedding everything was just perfect.||The organisation, staff morale, friendliness, customer service, attentiveness 100%.||Our 4pm wedding breakfast was a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings and dessert, this was 10/10 - all of our guests said how amazing the food was.|Evening buffet style food served at 8pm was again 10/10 guests and evening guests were very impressed.||All the girls and staff were always making sure things were, clean, tidy and people were ok, myself and my husband felt like king and queen, we have never felt more looked after.||We spent the night there in the wedding suite and it was amazing, lovely room, 4post bed so comfy, the bathroom and shower was clean and well provided. |Had a full English breakfast the next morning which was delicious with tea, coffee and juices. ||Value for money 5 stars!!!!||A well oiled machine from start to finish would 1000% recommend as a wedding venue and if you are a guest what an amazing time they will have! Hopefully we can return sometime as a guest.||Thank you ALL from the bottom of our hearts and thank you for letting us have the most perfect and happiest day of our lives.

We had our wedding here a couple of weeks ago and all I can say is WOW. ||From start to finish, unbelievable. Nothing too much trouble, staff are brilliant.||Rooms were great, snug and cosy. Nice and clean. Beds super comfy, all of our guests stayed over 6 rooms and not a single complaint. ||Thank you so much!!

Had a lovely stay here - clean room and bathroom, comfy beds, clean bedding, fluffy towels, tea and coffee making amenities, little fridge freezer. Room was really good size, warmed up quickly in this unpredictable autumn weather as we left the heaters off during the day. Our room was beautifully decorated as I mentioned it was my daughters birthday. Lovely owners. And can't forget the lovely courtyard. Perfect place for weddings and birthdays. Overall had an amazing stay..

We chose Whaplode as our wedding venue and never regretted it right from the start. The Team were incredibly helpful and helped with the smooth running of our big day. The food was great, the setting was ideal and the night was a fantastic evening. The bedrooms were great value and did everything you would want it to. There were en-suite showers and digital tv and was very clean and tidy. Would defo recommend either staying or using it as a venue.

We had our wedding here and cannot recommend this venue enough. Absolute hidden gem. Edwina is always there for any question I had big or small. Service was absolutely incredible! Every tiny detail was taken care of. Felt absolutely spoilt with breakfast hamper, lunch platter and evening buffet. Beautiful venue, the day went absolutely perfectly! Could not have asked for more. My dream wedding!
