Went to the Colonnade cocktail lounge for a drink with friends. We had been before and it was lovely. Checked to see if we had to be seated as I know there had been some changes. No signage to say that was the case. The area near the bar was full but we noticed seating available up the steps, again no signage or anything to inform us it wasn't available to us. Our husbands had gone to order drinks when a member of staff asked us if we were with the wedding party which we weren't . Brusquely told us this was a private area for wedding guests no alternative area was suggested so we left the area. , luckily found a free table in bar as our drinks had arrived or we would have left then. No one else was approached who were there in the upper area & we noted they left after their meals/drinks so they weren't part of wedding party either. Unlikey to visit again or recommend. Do get some signage in place so people are aware. The red rope that then got put up across the area wasn't in place when we came in either. Disappointed as had told our friends how nice it was.

We stopped at the white hart 1/3/25 for one night on a room only basis in a standard double room. |The gentleman on the door came across to our car and helped me with our overnight case. He took it into the reception for us. We informed the lady on reception that we had booked a car parking space and she sorted us out the pass and informed us that we could park the car, leave our bag and that check in was 3pm. |On our return our bag had already been taken to our room which was on the 3rd floor. |Our room was lovely with all the extras you needed and Elemis toiletries. Our room overlooked the cathedral which was lovely. |Large walk-in shower and lovely white towels and white bedding with the best pillows. |There is both lift and stair access. |The lounge in the evening was packed so we had a lovely cocktail before heading out. We stayed in the cathedral quarter where there are lovely local business shops, restaurants and plenty of bars and pubs. Drinks def city prices and a round of drinks eg a pint of Amstel and a small wine was approx £12. The cocktail (pornstar martini)and a Bier Morretti was £17 at the hotel. |The hotel is perfectly situated for the cathedral area and from there it’s down steep hill and a steady 15 walk into town. |If the steep hill is a challenge then you can catch the number 12 park and ride bus. |Enjoy.

We have never stayed in the White Hart on previous visits to Lincoln but we will definitely be staying there on our next visit. We were booked in to another establishment which on arrival we decided it wasn’t for us. After a tour of Lincoln we stopped in the White Hart for a drink and we were surprised how nice the bar area was, I asked at reception if there was any chance he had a room available and the chap on reception found us an excellent room with a fantastic view of Lincoln Cathedral. The young man on reception was more than helpful and accommodating and I can’t praise him highly enough. Thank you we will definitely be back.

Great location in Lincoln by the cathedral. Our room was very nice and comfortable with little extras like fresh milk in the fridge and bottled water. Breakfast is also very good as was the included dinner the night before with a very nice residents set menu.

From the moment we checked until we left the whole experience of this place was great!! |From the staff in reception, the bar staff and especially Kevin on the main entrance. His customer service skills were fantastic. We stayed in the Townhouse which was a great location and a beautiful place. We cannot wait to return.

The receptionist on arrival was very pleasant and helpful.||We stayed in room 101 and it was amazing, huge bedroom and bathroom nicely decorated. ||Our evening meal was very good and the gentleman taking our order etc was very pleasant.||Breakfast was extremely good although a couple of niggles no butter only Flora and no ketchup for the breakfast. Staff were extremely pleasant and food served hot and quickly||On checking out the receptionist just told us how much our bill was didn't offer us breakdown or ask if we had enjoyed our stay. ||Overall this was an excellent stay in a lovely hotel.

Only stayed one night, but very good all round and will happily return. Perfect location and an overiding sense that this hotel is well-run and cared for at all levels.||The bedroom is indeed 'Cosy' but the bathroom is very generous and both are well-appointed. Reception was welcoming and helpful, the bar and lounge staff are young and coped well with the demands of a very busy Saturday afternoon and evening. Breakfast was good and the service again was friendly and prompt - but sadly black pepper seemed a request too far. Couldn't help noticing that friends also staying and who joined us were not quite so lucky - coffee and tea arrived promptly but no cups and saucers.

Excellent choice. Nicely refurbished. Great location. The lively cocktail bar was clearly the place to be, and we had a great meal in the Antlers restaurant (the tempura enoki one of the most delicious starters I can remember, and a first class Basque cheesecake). Very comfortable bed, luxurious bathroom with quality products, and a free concert from the cathedral bell-ringers. Can’t recommend highly enough.
