Absolutely great place! After a long hike, this place can be recommended in all areas with 5 stars because the food has great options and it was very tasty. Staff were quick and friendly and the location just amazing. Just what we needed, especially with the stream in front - perfect for our doggie to have a dip while we were relaxing! Rooms were clean and comfortable and dog friendly!

We absolutely loved our Sunday roast after a morning on the beach. The service was great and the food was really good quality. We really appreciate they had a dog menu too - made everybody happy!

I was driving through the area and fancied a Sunday Roast, and was so glad I stopped here. The service and staff were fab. Food was excellent, really high quality and tasty.
I would definitely eat here again if in the area.

I had lunch with my son last Saturday. The service was great and friendly and I enjoyed the London Pride. I did wonder why it was quite quiet on a beautiful sunny Saturday near the downs. Having eaten here a year ago, I was then rather disappointed how much the prices had climbed. I fancied the fish pie but at £23 it was too much. I had the haddock and chips for £19. Just seemed a little too steep for what it was.

Our group of five golfers enjoyed the most amazing three course evening meal at the White Hart last night. The varied menu meant we all had different meals and each of us enjoyed our meal. The wine list was excellent and the staff very professional but friendly and helpful. We will all be returning very soon.

The White Hart has that classic country pub charm with a touch of luxury - great food, warm service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. I had a brilliant stay. Stunning views just a short walk away made it feel like a proper escape

Stayed here whilst cycling, booked last minute. Not the cheapest around but the staff are friendly, the garden is lovely with nice late evening sun and dinner in the bar was great. Would recommend.

We had a really lovely stay here on a Sunday night in January. I was pleasantly surprised by how buzzy the pub was on a Sunday evening with a great atmosphere and range of ages of customers having fun. Food was good and the rooms warm and comfortable - perfect after a soggy walk on the Downs!
