We were a group of adults staying at White Horse Cottage, from Friday to Monday and had an amazing stay. This lovely, old, but very spacious property was totally charming. It was clean and had everything we needed. The large open plan kitchen and dining area was the perfect social space.
Upon arrival we had a welcome pack of essentials and some seriously yummy Brownies, which went down very well. The cottage is full of thoughtful touches.
The village has a shop, butchers, a pub, and there are lots of great walks around the area. Overall, fantastic, we'll be back

This is a very pleasant cottage to stay at, and I'm sure it would be particularly lovely in the summer. It is very well equipped and very spacious. It is true that tall people like me can't stand fully upright in some of the downstairs rooms due to low ceilings, but this wasn't everywhere and was restricted to rooms where you're mostly sitting anyway. The kitchen and dining area ceilings are fine which was a relief as I was worried about cooking with a low ceiling, but that part of the downstairs was obviously built more recently. The upstairs rooms are all spacious with high ceilings. I did find the upstairs rooms got very cold at night and it was hard to do anything about that - you could boost the heating for a bit but it only lasted an hour before turning back off again, so you had to wrap up warm in bed and still ended up with a cold face. That was my only real criticism though.

Lovely 450 year old cottage which is well equipped. 2 TVs - 1 smart and the other has a Chromecast stick. WiFi is OK. Most of the ground level has low ceilings and there are even lower doorways throughout. Tall and even not that tall people have to stoop to move around the place (the upside is it's so low you can't forget to duck - and so we had no head bumps). Comfortable beds. Lovely brownies supplied. Patio furniture good quality. Upstairs water pressure and drainage poor, but hey, it's old! Overall, thoroughly recommended.
