It's not the Hilton. But neither is the price. Not sure what level of accommodation the 1 star reviewers were expecting for a £60 a night b&b near an upmarket city like Cambridge but it's adequate and amazing value. The Indian restaurant downstairs serves delicious food and is equally great value.

Booked to stay here arrived at the property. Not as expected looking at the pictures. The room is dirty. The shower head full of timescale. Cracked windows. Dirty bed sheets. The list goes on. Avoid at all costs!!!

BED BUGS
Don’t stay here!! Cheap but you will get eating alive while you sleep, great if you want to be a source of food!
BED BUGS my child is covered in them on his back and his fingers, head. Place was very very dirty stayed before reading reviews and a late night stop over. Don’t go.

Booked 6 rooms for business but only used 4, every room was clean and habitable. No complaints from myself or staff who stayed with me everything was clean and comfortable. Rooms were cheap and cheerful no complaints from myself or my staff.

Absolutely awful! When we got there we were told to leave the window open when we went out because they only had one key and if we lost it that's how we would get back in 😂 he was just about to get another one cut and then we arrived (4pm). We were given one towel despite having a double bed and a single bed. The bathroom bin had used cotton buds in, the bathroom unit had someone's cut up bra in it. We had 3 double plug sockets only one worked 😂 the breakfast options were malted wheaties or toast I honestly don't know how they dare say 'breakfast included' we left so early in the morning because I couldn't stand to be in there any longer! Seen another guest upon leaving that said she had bugs in her bed and I can absolutely believe that!

Cheap for the location, friendly staff, the place was very dirty, dust all over the room, sheets and towel were clean, i dont believe they wipe down or clean the bathroom after each guest, a previous guests flip flops and shower stuff was in the bathroom, bed was uncomfortable, shower kept going hot and cold and the water. was coming out of all directions. wouldnt visit again. rooms are not spacious at all, no bed bugs at the moment, only saw the bed bug reviews when i got there but that was months ago.

First & foremost it is a outskirtb&b & needs to be booked as one. it is pretty decent,people who arerunning the place are really accommodating and helpful. Lived here with my partner for a night. seeing the sceptic reviews i was unsure but after reaching here felt much safer. there is an indian restaurant with quite decent food and varieties. it is very accessible for city centre as the bus stop is right opposite to the lodge road.

DO NOT GO HERE! myself and my partner had to leave at 1am after being woken up by BED BUGS AND LICE! so disgusting. the bed was covered. had to travel all the way home as no hotel had a room at that time of night. will never go back and what a waste of money!
