Very clean, peaceful and cosy B&B in Callander. The double room was very large and well equipped with sink and TV. The shared bathroom was one of the cleanest we’ve seen. Breakfast was very generous, with cereals as well as a very nice cooked Scottish breakfast. Caroline was very friendly and welcoming, we really felt at home for the night! Great location too and free parking just outside the house. Really good value.

My party was so big at this years festival that we had to overspill from Waverley Hotel into The White Shutters . This is a wonderful little place run by the lovely Caroline. I have to be honest and say rooms are not ensuite but please don't let that put you off as the beautiful bathroom and shower facilities are no more than 20 steps away from your room. 5 in my case. Rooms are comfortable with TV and tea making Facilities and are absolutely spotless. You are right in the heart of town and all the action. Breakfast is a complete joy and no request is too much trouble for Caroline. Prices are unbelievably reasonable. A perfect place for a weekend stay.

My family always have an overnight stay here whilst traveling to the north of Scotland. As always Caroline is so welcoming and provides a clean quiet room with a delicious breakfast at a brilliant rate. My son loved his Noah's ark duvet cover and was sad we only stayed just one night here. Our holidays to Scotland would not be the same without staying over at White Shutters.

Stayed overnight at the shutters on way to further north of Scotland,our room was very clean and comfortable,there is no on suite but the bathroom was kept very clean and there is only 3rooms at the shutters so it is nice and peaceful.the breakfast was gorgeous it was cooked fresh and to your liking. There was plenty of choices and Caroline the host was very helpful and a great welcoming host with plenty of knowledge of the area as was her husband too.it is very reasonable for prices lovely area Will definitely be returning good work to hosts

I was amazed by sparkling spotless clean toilet. It doesn't feel like you share it at all. The room is very quiet and cosy when you want a rest. Don't hear other residents at all and the hostess is such a nice and friendly woman. We will definitely go back as soon as we will be able.

For the very reasonable price you get a friendly warm welcome, a nice quiet place to stay, a very clean room and a good breakfast. If you need a place to rest whilst exploring the local area this is ideal. It is also centrally located right in the middle of the town so you won't have far to walk. I've stayed in many bed and breakfasts over the years but for the value for money, cleanliness and Caroline's friendly and professional manner this is one of my favourites..

A friendly welcome from Caroline. I just wanted a clean inexpensive basic accomodation to break my journey from Skye back to Cheshire .. Ok not en-suite, but a nice hot bath (I was the only guest) ..Very nice breakfast next morning.. At today's prices I thought £23 to be very reasonable.. I would choose White Shutters again..

On our first tour through Scotland we started from Edinburgh and travelled to Callander which was recommended to us.||We had never stayed at a B&B before so we were trying to figure out how it all works in the B&B staying business.||Luckily we found a sign in the window saying there was a vacancy.||We were greeted by the owner of the B&B and she showed us a double bedroom where we could stay for the night.||A very nice room to stay I must say.||The only thing we didn't like that much was there was no bathroom at the room itself.||There is a shared bathroom though down the hall which was lovely.||||We even went back there on our next trip to Scotland. Unfortunately there were no more vacancies. Beter luck next time.||||We stayed at the White Shutters in June of 2014.
