Our hosts Simon and Lane were very friendly and welcoming. The room we stayed in (room 1) was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. We both really enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning. Thank you for a such wonderful stay!

Stayed for 2 nights and met by the owner on arrival. We were surprised to be told out room was ready as it was before lunchtime. |The ensuite room was nice and clean, the bed was comfy and although there was a main road nearby we didn't hear any traffic. Tea coffee and hot chocolate were provided and the TV had a range of channels to watch. |We had to choose our breakfast the day before and were given a choice of items to choose so decided on a full English breakfast each for the first one to have after our juice and cereal. All was nice apart from the sausage which let the breakfast down. The second day one of us had scrambled egg which was really nice and creamy and the other beans on toast..|The locality of the guest house was so handy to walk into the town centre and pavilion. The hosts were friendly and made us feel very welcome.

We visited this lovely hotel as a surprise for my husbands birthday.|Spotlessly clean and the vegetarian breakfast was amazing. Parked for free on the road at the front of the hotel for free with a permit from the owner. 10 minutes walk into the town and even got a bus into Scarborough for £2 each! Cannot fault anything about this hotel and the owners could not do enough for us during our stay! Highly recommend and we will definitely return!

Absolutely amazing little guest house, Simon and Lane were exceptionally great hosts. They catered for us brilliantly. The room was beautiful, the cleanliness was faultless, the breakfast was amazing, they are lovely people, we will be back, and we highly recommended for anyone. Bank holiday weekend at the Whitehaven, our room was spacious, airy and very clean. All the amenities you could want. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Our hosts were lovely and friendly. The guest house is in an excellent spot only a short walk to the Pavilion and the town centre. Our room had no on suite but did have its very own shower room and toilet which was never a problem. A very spacious shower room as well. Overall a fabulous weekend was to be had.

My partner & I stayed in this wonderful guesthouse during the last Bank Holiday in August. We were immediately welcomed & shown into our lovely room (Room 1).|The room is very tastefully decorated and has a lovely small ensuite. Everything you need has been thought of, even a heat mat for your hair straighteners! The bed was very comfy and the whole guest house is immaculate. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and we had such a fabulous time in Whitby. I cannot recommend the Whitehaven enough, it really is homely & spotless. Thank you for making our visit so lovely. X

Absolutely fantastic|We stayed here many years ago and we were very happy with what we got so decided to stay again.|This B&B Is one of the best I've ever stayed in, the cleanliness is second to none. The owners are so warm and welcoming ( it's genuine not forced)|We had the Cosy double room number 2 and yes it's a bit tight on space but it is more than adequate. Bed linen and towels are good quality and the room is cleaned every day with the tea and coffee making facilities replenished. TV has free view so lots of channels that choose from.|Full English breakfast is cooked to order so it's always fresh and hot. |

A lovely guesthouse in a great spot. The tour bus stops right outside so this is great to get into the town particularly as the walk back is quite steep. Simon and Lane are great hosts and the breakfast is superb with very good quality ingredients. Parking is a bit of an issue although we were there during the Whitby Regatta so the town was very busy. You can park in the Leisure centre next door at a cost. We would strongly recommend this spotlessly clean B&B.
