We arrived early and as our room, The Lion, was ready we were able to book in straight away. Lovely room, very clean and beautifully decorated. The barns have been converted to a high standard, tucked away amongst really pretty surroundings away from the main road. An easy walk to the canal which if you turn right, takes you into Bradford on Avon where there are plenty of pubs and shops. Cooked breakfast the following morning was really good quality with tea, coffee, fresh juice, yoghurt and fruit, cereals and a very good choice of cooked food. A very warm, friendly welcome from Dick and the other members of staff. We are going to recommend this B&B to our family and friends and we would definitely stay here again.

A relaxing stay overnight so we could meet up with old friends in from NZ who were visiting family in the nearby town. Welcomed as soon as we arrived by Dick and Flo the dog. Really comfy beds, clean rooms, my only regret was having to get out of bed for breakfast, ?
Cooked breakfast and / or cereals were on offer. Various old signs and collectable decorated the breakfast room. Easy parking, with electric recharging if you need it.
If I am ever in the area again I'll definitely look at the availability there.

What a lovely place. Family-run, Dick and his granddaughter were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was gorgeous and the room was perfect. Clean and with everything you need. Myself and my husband had a lovely 2 night stay here and would definitely stay here again. We also enjoyed watching a live band play at the Boathouse pub just a 5 minute walk away on the Friday and a lovely Indian meal at Tuti's in Bradford-on-Avon on the Saturday. We finished with drinks by the canal on Sunday at the Barge Inn who also serve food (we were too stuffed from the lovely breakfast!) and offer free parking. |Thank you to all at Widbrook Barns for looking after us and making our stay so enjoyable.

Friendly welcome by Dick set the tone for our 2 night stay. Cosy room (Secret Seven), fabulous breakfast and Jessica very accommodating at breakfast. Guest kitchen available with microwave, plates, cutlery etc for take outs. Parking plentiful, and we left our car on the last day to walk and picked it up later. Would highly recommend

Would go back in a heartbeat! |Everything was just perfect. We were a party of mixed aged ladies coming together for a weekend and booked 5 rooms. |Dick was super! From booking to arrival, showing us around and even helping with our bags, he could not have been more helpful. |Widbrook Barns was easy to find, secure with the gated access, and easy to park, all on the flat. Once booked in you can come and go as you please and left to relax but Dick is easy to call if help is needed (locked myself out of my room!)|The rooms were spotless, and everything had been well thought through. Beds were super comfy with good quality bedding and spare pillows if needed. Showers are nice and hot. Fridges in each room, kitchenette, and the garden room were great for a warm weekend and to chill the bubbly!|We used the garden room with the Wardrobe to come together for the evenings and we used the outside seating for one evenings takeaway -|Dominoes delivery and a pick up from Seven Stars pub in Winsley 10 mins away. We booked and ate at the Boathouse just down the road the first evening but sadly would not recommend there. Food was okay, although not as described, and the service was shocking.|There is seating around the grounds which was used for some quiet time and watching the wildlife.|Breakfast! Amazing!! Plenty of choice, good quality and just the little things... Nice cold milk for cereal, a pot of hot water as well a pot of tea, a selection of treats for your toast, plenty of toast as you wish and a beautiful cooked breakfast all fresh to order and served cheerily by Dick and family members.|We had 3 x coeliacs (gluten free)in our group and 1 x vegetarian all very well catered for ? They were able to eat confident that our hosts were knowledgeable about contamination etc so we could all relax!|Thank you for a lovely stay!

We just stayed the one night at Widbrook Barns but would happily have stayed longer. Our unit, The Wardrobe was full of character and nicely equipped. Breakfast was really good, nicely cooked and the ingredients tasted fresh. Would have liked some blinds in the garden room as it felt a little public. My wife didn't get on with the pillows but, being in the hospitality business ourselves we know this can be hard judge. Very welcoming host and useful information pack in the room. Good WiFi too. We noticed that the site has an ev charger but not a dedicated ev parking bay. If we'd brought our EV we could have been looking for someone to move their car. Not a big deal but maybe something to think about (e.g. pre booking of the ev parking place ?). Overall would love to come back and would come again.
