A beautifully situated pub. The food looked good, but the price seemed a little steep for what they offered. The staff we spoke to were great. They made us feel extremely welcome. However, we were looking for pubs with real individual charm, and although the view is good, personally I found the decor to be a bit generic.

Really hate to moan, but we visited yesterday for some food, having been many times before. We knew what to expect, fairly priced food, great portions, an above avg quality.

Yet this visit at a off peak time for the day, an season really, we met what felt like staff that just wanted you money. food that was below avg, served so the 1st persons dinner was stone cold by the time 4th persons came out. a set of chips served 15 mins later "ordered together so why the varied arrival"

when questioned about the 1st meal now being cold, was clearly zapped in microwave

certainly given us second thoughts about a return now

We stayed here on st Patrick’s evening for the dine and stay for my birthday… and just wow! The best overnight and dining experience my husband and I have ever had the privilege of having! Incredible price for the service we received, our room was immaculate and the view… chefs kiss! Including breakfast which was so thought out and attentive we couldn’t have asked for more! A huge shout out though goes to the staff! Every single one were outstanding… Mr mouse in the evening checked in on us and chatted, the young girl was super friendly/professional and just the right amount of banter but our 5stars go to Deb! Table service in the evening full of laughter and vibrancy… and come the morning it was still there! Even singing me a happy birthday! This light of a woman deserves a bonus/a raise and a bloody good holiday! Thankyou to all of you for making us feel incredibly special, thought after and apart of your wight mouse family! We can’t wait to come back in the summer and bring our teenagers! Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou!!!!! X

Visited pub for Sunday lunch with brother-in-law and his partner whilst visiting the island for weekend.
Even though very busy the service from staff was amazing and food was very good.
Highly recommend the wagu beef Sunday roast!
Would definitely visit again on my return to island.

We stayed here for two nights for a local trade show and due to poor weather and prior work commitments we arrived at the hotel to check in at around 9.30pm. The young lady explained that the kitchen actually shuts at 9.00pm however they would be happy to offer us a simple meal choice from the menu, amazing. We then progressed to explain that we had to leave the hotel around 7.00am before breakfast is served, they further offered to make us a packed lunch instead.|The final amazing offer was when the bar shut at 10.00pm and yet we had only just sat down to eat our food, they offered to pour us drink to sit and enjoy while they cleared the bar area and prepared for breakfast. This is service that as a sales person who spends a lot of time in hotels, we don’t see very often anymore.|Amazing hotel, great food, amazing views, even more amazing service, every member of the team are awesome.

Lovely stay here, staff are amazing, extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. lovely food, very welcoming atmosphere. Christmas Dec's absolutely made it special. We were on the island for a funeral, felt looked after, and comfortable, breakfast was 10/10, room just perfect.... 3 star rating but 4 star service.... will be back definitely.

Me and my partner decided to book the dine and stay at the start of January.

Our room was immaculate and the sea view was beautiful!

For our first night we had the chef’s chicken curry, it was packed with flavour and delicious. Breakfast in the morning was well cooked and it was a nice touch to have the continental selection as well.

Everytime we come to the island we always visit the White Mouse Inn for food, we have never had a bad meal (my partner has been coming to the island for 15 years, I think that speaks for itself).

All the staff are so warm, friendly and welcoming. Our stay really was perfect! The White Mouse Inn is a real gem on the island.

Amazing place . Good selection of food and drink and lovely staff. Went twice while holidaying on the isle of wight. Would highly recommend. Lots of space inside and good play area for the younger ones.. visit the lovely place . You won't be disappointed
