We recently stayed here for 5 days. The cabins were lovely, very cosy. The kitchen was very well equipped, the decoration was brilliant and perfect for children. The beds were so comfortable and the cabin was lovely and warm. The bath had a small seat making it fab for small children, too small for adults to have a bath but can use the shower. Cabin was stocked with sponges, dish washing cloths, tea towel, washing up liquid, bubble bath, soap, towels and toilet paper. We loved being able to chromecast onto the TV. The lounge area wasn’t particularly comfortable to relax on once the children were in bed but managed okay. The small children’s park outside the cabins was fab. The store on site was well stocked and had everything we managed to forget! We had a slight issue with our shower and they sent staff straight to our cabin to fix it, by the time I’d got back from reception to report it the staff were there to check it out. We missed the shop closing time and needed milk and when ordering the takeaway from the park restaurant they brought us milk. Very accommodating!! The staff were so so friendly and helpful. It was very tidy and clean. It would have been useful to leave possibly some instructions for the electric hob and dishwasher in the welcome book as we did struggle a little on how to use them however the welcome book was very informative and had everything we needed inside, aside from that. The stay was amazing value for money and included park tickets. Would definitely recommend staying here for families with young children.

These lodges are wonderful, we had a squirrel vip with hot tub, the kids room was so lovely decorated like a fairy forest! Kitchen was great and had everything we needed to cook food. Village was quiet at night and plenty of space between lodges so you don’t feel squashed in and overlooked.
Did have a visit from a cat ?‍⬛ on the last morning, who snook in the lodge doorway as we were packing up the car ? bit of a surprise but we managed to it out promptly!

We stayed 4 nights in August, we had 2 lodges, a Squirrel Premium and a Squirrel VIP with hot tub. The lodge has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen with a 2 ring induction hob, fan oven, fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher. All utensils, pots and pans are provided and even dishwashing tablets. We stayed on 1 of the hottest nights where temperatures reached 32 deg in daytime, luckily we took a tower fan with us as it would have been unbearable without. we also took a small peg holder so was able to rinse out a few small bits to dry whilst we were out in the day. A few people had taken small paddling pools for their toddlers which is a great idea. Do take your own food as small shop very expensive but shops are not far away if you need to restock. The only thing we wish we had taken was a non stick frying pan, but there was 1 in the lodge but not non stick. Remember to take disposable bbq as stand provided is very useful and will also take a large double bbq.

Had the best time at Wildacre Village we didn't want to go home! The cabins are equipped for young families and are also reasonably priced. We went with a 1 and a half and 4 year old and it was perfect for their ages. Park tickets for Sundown included each day and soft play/bistro open daily from 8.30am, found we were the first ones in there most days so had soft play to ourselves for around a hour which was fab! |Cabins are clean and tidy, they do get hot on a night but on reading other reviews we were prepared for this and did what we could to keep rooms cool. I would recommend taking/hiring a fan for the summer months. |We look forward to coming back again in the near future ?

Lovely weekend away. The park is great the kids (6&2) have loved it. Park employees have all been so friendly and helpful. Soft play is open before and after park hours for resort stays and we’ve taken advantage of the quiet play hours both for breakfast and evenings, fantastic. Food has been okay, a bit on the expensive side but not extortionate.

This is a fantastic place to stay, the lodge was well kept, roomy and the hot tub was really clean. They had even thought of little touches like having dishwasher tablets and supplied sponges fairy liquid and towels. The staff were really helpful and we were able to borrow a fan when it was really hot. We really can’t wait to come back one day

We stayed for a long weekend (3 nights). The cabins are close to the park enabling us to go back for lunch, dinners and breaks.

There is a small playground close to the entrance.

There is a good central field for children to play football on.

As the theme park is aimed at Under 10s it meant that all the other children were similar ages making things a little easier (no late night noise).

We got entry included with our stay which I think is a must have, I wouldn't have wanted to pay £80+ extra each day.

The shop is very very small but Asda is only 20 minutes away and Tesco did deliver to one of the other cabins.

The cabins are good, only downside is lack of AC (the cabins do get hot), and the bath in our small cabin was too small considering it sleeps 3 children.

All staff have been excellent.

Definitely a superb place to stay and go when you have young children. We had a 3 and 5 year old who have had a blast.

This place is amazing for families. Lodges are great and outside patio area is lovely. I would say if your getting a lodge with a hot tub they are not very private you basically in the hot tub next to the road. ||The children’s bedroom lovely decorated. All amenities you will need in the lodge and if not in the shop on site. ||Very close to the “bistro” soft play and restaraunt. You get what you expect from this restaraunt but the soft play is one of the best we have been too. ||Tickets to sundown included so this is a bonus. Sundown is amazing for families and kids. We will be returning here probably every year, we loved it. However, will not be returning to wild acre village…||The seat in living room was stained. Plug holes dirty and the floors were not cleaned from previous guests, our feet were black. The bathroom stunk so bad we rang reception who came and put bleach down the plug holes which helped for an hour. On inspection my husband seen the shower leaks and has rotted all the skirting board in the bathroom leaving mould and foisty smell which they were obviously aware of prior as can be seen on the image. On our second day the smell was unbearable. ||We told them on checkout and the girl on reception could not have been more dismissive if she tried which then led me to also complain to hoseasons who advised the give the accommodation 28 to reply which they never did. Hence this review! This has left a really bad taste in my mouth and to which we won’t be returning to wild acre village.
