What an amazing stay!!!!
Set in a great location next to the river, the Wild they and honey has it all, warm open fires, great drinks, so welcoming.
Upon arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who escorted us to our beautiful room. We were lucky enough to have an upgrade which also included a drink. The room was really unique and felt very welcoming, we also had a view of the river 😍

After settling in we went down for a drink in the gardens. We sat in a great seat next to the river watching the world go by. After a quick drink we went for a quick bike ride that they supply, just sign in and away to go. The local village is a beautiful place.

For that added experience we booked dinner in one of the private pods outside. Again a great thing to include in your stay. Food was tasty, fresh and hot!
The next morning we woke up refreshed after a great night's sleep. That morning we had a great breakfast with continental and hot food to choose from.

A quaint and quintessential Cotswolds inn with 5 star amenities. Honestly they have exceeded our expectations coming from the states - the suites are lovely and the location is superb. We opted for staying here instead of in the city if cirencester (7 min drive by the way) and I’m so glad we did! You have breakfast with a view of the sheep and reindeer farm, the view in your rooms are of the beautiful bubbling ampney brook and meadow where there are a few local public’s walks through the meadow. Stunning and simple but elevated in terms of amenities. Each morning you get a bottle of fresh milk delivered at your door step for coffee in the room! They provide a complimentary bottle of Sloe Gin in your room for the entire stay locally made. Bar tender downstairs created a great sloe gin cocktail on the fly. Our friends came one night from cirencester to enjoy the bar for a few hours and they never made us feel like we had to rush. The staff is incredibly accommodating. The restaurant, The Crown, was so good we ate dinner here two nights in a row! A great balance of accommodation and self serving, they allow you to live in the spaces as your home but everything is thoughtful and available when you need it.

I had an ok experience. The place is charming and cosy. Bedrooms is a little smaller than I think, I choose it on Booking and picture I saw seem to be a lot bigger bedroom. We came over to rest, it is strange check in at 4 pm and check out at 11 am. Restaurant is ok, t recommend the curry that was fantastic! And thanks to Paula, a fantastic lady that works ate the restaurant made all the difference.! It’s a good place! A bit expensive for what it is.

Stayed here a while back for a two night escape. Room was lovely, especially with the free standing bath. Really well presented, quiet and with everything you’d need. The pantry idea is an excellent touch and staff were all very polite and friendly. It took a while to check in but due to a busy Sunday turn over, and staff were very accommodating and provided a free drink while we waited. Really good options for local walks and visits, come rain or shine. ||The pub attached served very good food, however, the service time was particularly slow and it took perhaps 30 minutes between courses if not longer even though the pub was half empty at the time. Noted it gets very busy for Sunday lunch. Will certainly be returning, however have seen prices for a nights stay have nearly doubled in 6 months!

Second time to Wild Thyme & Honey and it is still good. |My partner and I stayed for 2 nights and had a great time. The service was friendly the food was great and they have a whispering angel summer activation on the terrace. Defiantly reccomend a bottle of WA or two in the sunshine

We spent a couple of days in the Cotswolds and this was a perfect night stop for us. The rooms were immaculately clean and staff welcoming. Lots to choose from at breakfast, hot and cold and it made a refreshing change to not be charged anything additional for the privilege. (Delicious croissants!)

The only negative was that the room was quite warm, with little ventilation.

We will definitely be back. Thank you.

We just returned from a one-night stay at the Wild Thyme and Honey.||We stayed in the 'Deer' room, which is on the first floor and overlooks Ampney Brook and adjacent fields and countryside.||Room was lovely. Comfortable bed, very clean, a large bathtub in the room itself (which we loved!), clean bathroom with superb shower and underfloor heating, complementary still and sparkling water and various teas and coffees, fresh milk (rather than UHT), complementary Sloe gin (!), and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soaps etc.||All of the staff we interacted with were brilliant, very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble.||The breakfast in the morning was really lovely. Thanks to the beautiful sunshine, we enjoyed breakfast sat outside right next to Ampney Brook. Fresh cooked options, including the classic full English, salmon & eggs, etc. Plus, continental options including fresh fruits, croissant and yoghurts. Unfortunately on this occasion we were unable to order an option with avocado due to some supplier issues, but we didn't mind as we were able to mix 'n' match on a couple of items. These things do happen. Double espresso and orange juice were fabulous.||Various newspapers to read in the bar & breakfast area, which were refreshed daily.||Lovely and lively bar area, and various real fires flickering away giving a nice vibe. Plenty of choice for drinks.||Perhaps some of the other rooms could experience noise, but we experienced no noise whatsoever on our stay so can only speak to our quiet and positive experience.||Ample car parking. Well located for exploring the Cotswolds, and very close to Cirencester which we loved.||We'll be back - thank you very much for a lovely stay.

What a fabulous place. I stay at the Wild Thyme & Honey every month on business and absolutely love the place. The food is amazing, the rooms are fabulous, but what makes me smile the most is Paula.

I always look forward to seeing her ; she makes my experience that extra bit special. The service she gives is the best I have experienced whilst staying here. She always greets you with a smile and you feel like you have known her for years. I just love her!

Would highly recommend staying here.
