Found by chance on the way along the A57. Absolutely amazing burger with all the extras. Best burger we've had from a stand by EVER. Such nice people too. Will definitely use again when up this way.

Visited snake woodland for a walk today, on return to the car we grabbed a butty each from the wild man cafe. Greeted by a lovely man and woman, very chatty and polite. Served 2 lovely sausage and Bacon muffins… Very delicious!!

Came down from Kinder Scout on January 1st to find this amazing food van in the carpark, my friends and I couldn't say no to the cheese burgers that were available, the perfect pick me up after a morning hike! The food was amazing, really well cooked and very high quality, highly recommend Wildman Cafe ?

I’ve visited twice in recent weeks and have nothing but praise for the whole set up
Carl “Wildman” is the perfect host and has fantastic local knowledge of the area and all round outdoor leisure activities.
Along with his daughter Ellie they produce the most amazing food and drinks, it’s a real pleasure to visit and in a beautiful location

Had a bacon burger here on the 1st Jan 2022 for breakfast after watching the sunrise on Kinder. Really excellent food, restaurant quality burgers, the chef cooks them superbly and is very friendly to chat to about the local area.

Visited Sunday 19th Dec. Excellent grub (proper burger and proper bacon). Definitely recommend. Super friendly. Be sure to take cash, I think the poor reception there prevents card payments.

We came across the wildman cafe on a walk but we had no cash to buy anything, they offered us a coffee anyway but we didn’t feel right doing that so they said we could have some food and PayPal them the money when we next had service! Top quality people, so lovely and genuine, will definitely be going back!! Plus the food was AMAZING, just what we needed!

Whilst on a hike over the beautiful snakepass . an oasis within an oasis appeared before me , The Wildman Cafe stationed in a layby/carpark on the A57 , after what can only be described as much more than a snack and brew coupled with a funny , interesting and knowledgeable conversation with Carl and the staff I carried on with my walk through some of the most picturesque wilderness you will find anywhere .... The burgers alone are worth the trip without the hike for those who appreciate scenery through a car window ...10/10 see you again soon
