Quality meal with exceptional service. We were first time visitors as a family of three. Every single member of staff we encountered were so friendly and easy going. Special thanks to Chloe who went above and beyond for us, helping us clear up when we spilled our puppy’s water.|The food arrived swiftly and was piping hot. Generous portions and really tasty. |Would highly recommend.

What amazing staff! So friendly - they really told us lots of interesting things. We loved it. We can recommend the beers from the local First and Last Brewery. Even better they come served in a good old fashioned glass with a handle. Himself had stottie and chips - if you don't know what a stottie is, it's time to find out. And I had wild mushroom crepe and warm potato salad. By gorgeous.

Didn't stay in a room so haven't reviewed the room. My friends and I were staying in Otterburn and read this was a nice restaurant. Didn't disappoint! We had 3 courses and coffees. Very nice. Servers were lovely, we had a Robert Pattinson lookalike serving us and he was lovely.

The bedrooms look NOTHING like the website. They are shabby, tired and cheaply slapped together. Not at all worth the money. We were expecting luxury, which it is most certainly not. The restaurant was disorganised, there were quite a few things on the menu that went available. Two of our meals were forgotten about. We had to get up from the table to go to the bar and try and get drinks. It was faulty towers on a bad day.

I did not stay at the William De Percy but I did have the pleasure of eating there, It is very dog friendly and they have a brilliant track. The toilets were immaculately clean and smelt rather nice! Must say good quality toilet paper. The starters were very good and so were the mains, clean plates all round. Crepes for desert were okay. Unfortunately They did forget my main so I was sat watching my family devour their meals around me like vultures whilst I sat ravenously wasting away. However to rectify this issue they did a great gesture of removing drinks from the bill!

Merci beaucoup Willy de Percy would most definitely come again!

Lovely food however this is the 3rd occasion I have been with extremely poor restaurant service. Drinks ordered and never came, when we reminded the waitress they came (after starters) and the order was wrong. Waited ages for plates to be cleared etc. Asked twice for dessert menus then had to wait 20 mins for order to be taken. For the price of the desserts you would expect more than a tablespoon of ice cream with the sticky toffee, with minimal extra cost to the restaurant. Only reason I return is because I’m local. 2 out of the 3 occasions the restaurant has been nearly empty, so no excuse. However the Sunday when it was busy there was plenty staff about so again, not much excuse.

Very nice, cosy hotel. Good breakfast, good service, a warm welcome. Nice rooms with great bathroom. Very nice area to spend your time. We got a upgrade what is always nice. A good place for 1 or more nights to stay. We will be back when we come to England again.
