What a comforting stop on the A303. It has a clean toilet nearby, parking space, and this charming wagon with the ladies offering you snacks, hot drinks, burgers, cakes, and a few chairs to sit to enjoy the fresh air, above all, a relaxing stop on your travels. Opening hours are changing as the summer approaches. Just be careful on the approach as the traffic can be hectic and fast, if you are heading to London on your approach.
Always worth supporting the local communities and having a lovely cooked fast meal for you, basically in the middle on the lovely Countryside.

Been stopping here for years. Staff are lovely and always try to accommodate small requests. Food is always tasty, generous portions sizes and good value. And delicious cake! There isn't the range of hot drinks as down the road at Starbucks but very decent nonetheless and a much nicer atmosphere. Support a small friendly business! New paved seating area coming for summer.

Found this place after constantly finding no spaces in the services beforehand. This is proper old school layby services. Plenty of space, set back from the main road and decent toilets. A cut above the usual for these sort of places with good food and drink

i have eat that sandwich in 10 seconds , no talent at all just eat .

have you ever heard of a wrapped sandwich in a French baguette , so i can eat while driving.
i remember this snack van in Colchester B&Q amazing sandwiches and Lovely people behind the counter .

Had a simple egg sandwich but sometimes simple is the best gague of quality. I have never known a snack van/Cafe use such high quality eggs! Look at the color of that yolk? And they were small and compact, the sign of a super fresh egg. Tempted to go back for another.

We stopped for an egg & sausage sandwich & a sausage & onion roll, it was so good. Freshly cooked & very reasonable. The 2 cups of tea were also perfect. Quick fresh cooked food served with a smile.
