We stayed at Windbrake House as part of a belated multi-family holiday and had a wonderful time. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The property is gated with space for up to 7 cars (at a squeeze). There is plenty of space to be sociable or to hide yourself away for some quiet time. The games room has plenty to keep all ages entertained with the highlight being the table football. The kitchen is a good size and allowed us to easily cater for our group of 14. The garden is large with a gate that offers a quick cut-through to the seafront. The house is in a great location and was the perfect hub for seeing Portsmouth. Sally was a wonderful host and very welcoming and easy to speak with. Highly recommended for a stay, or celebration where you need that extra space to accommodate a good size group.

Perfect rental for a large family get together. Sally has done an exceptional job of decorating and preparing things for guests. Her handbook answered every question and was filled with information about the area. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. My feather bed and blankets were hard to leave behind! Great weekend retreat.

Beautiful house next to the sea. Fabulous host who stopped at nothing to make everything perfect for our stay, a warm welcome with homemade cakes and the breakfast was gorgeous. Will be sure to visit and stay again - especially to see their little cat!

I stay at windbrake house when I work in the local area. Staying with the lovely hosts and being able to relax in stunning rooms make this one of my most anticipated placements.

The host is wonderful, accommodating and friendly. The rooms are fantastic and I was offered fresh cake and coffee or tea on arrival.

10 of us rented Windbrake House for a short holiday let. It was an amazing house with everything we could have wanted and more - fantastic decor and style, great garden and spitting distance to Stokes Bay. Had a great day at Portsmouth and Southsea and fun to take the short passenger ferry across - highly recommend - you wont be disappointed!!

Lovely rooms, I was ready to write an excellent review based soley on that but very rude host. Would have been nice to have been offered to wait inside for my taxi instead the door literally slammed on my way out. Shan't stay again.

Great comfortable b and b with very friendly service thouout our 2 night stay. Easy access to hotel next doorish. Nice walk down to sea front. Breakfast was great 2. Nice garden to sit and relax in as well.

What a superb break, in a lovely home with a charming hostess and an amazing bed and breakfast. I highly recommend staying here and enjoying the hospitality, comfortable beds, lovely decor and delicious breakfast.
