Fantastic site, great security, amazing toilet block. Peaceful surroundings with a private bird hide to observe the local birdlife. Flat signposted walks and a local nature reserve adjoining the site.Dogs are welcome, and they even have a warm shower station to keep them clean! The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back. 5 stars

Fantastic little site, a tranquil gem that is perfect for those who like to be surrounded by nature and wildlife. The owner was incredibly welcoming and helpful and has put a huge amount of effort into making this site the lovely place that it is. There are marked walking routes around the adjoining farmland and even a bird hide on site which overlooks the adjoining nature reserve. We recorded over 50 species of bird in the immediate area in our 24 hour stay!
The facilities block is modern and kept very clean, the showers are hot and powerful. Laundry facilities and a microwave are available for use and there is also an outdoor dog shower for dealing with muddy pooches.
We were rather sad that having found such a wonderful place we were only able to stay one night while passing through…we will definitely be back. Our pitch fee was £20 for the night including hook up, which we felt was outstanding value for the standard of site and facilities available.
We love wildlife and peace and quiet, so this site was perfect for us. If you like to be walking distance to pubs/shops/entertainment etc then the rural location may not be for you.

We love this place! The site is small and peaceful. Each pitch is a good size. Some have hardstanding, but most are grass. Each one has electric hook-up and a water tap within a reasonable distance.

There is a small toilet block with free showers. They are always spotless and well maintained.

The owner is very friendly and has done a lot to accommodate dogs with several well-marked dog walks directly from the site and there is now a grassed exercise area and a dog wash (which we use on our spaniel regularly). There is also a small fishing lake if that's your thing.

What an absolute gem of a site. First time for us and will definitely not be the last,

So peaceful and the site staff cannot do enough for you.

Was on one of the hard standing pitches and by gum it is hard! You definitely need rock pegs for your awning.

There are plenty of walks from the site and is right by a lovely nature reserve, fishing in the pond is free with a few nice size carp, tench etc plus an odd pike or two, a brand new toilet block with toilets, disable toilet, showers plus kitchen area with microwave, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer.

There is a little road noise during the day and quite a bit during rush hours, not much as it is a country road, but by 7pm it's a quiet as the grave.

Very friendly and helpful, pitches are well presented and maintained, and wildlife is all around, very picturesque and supplied with lovely walks to enjoy.
It is close to towns but far enough to enjoy the clean air and peace and quiet.
The shower block is clean, and hot water plentiful.

Excellent site good facilities and very friendly welcome
At first the road was a bit annoying but this was not an issue as we arrived during rush hour We slept really well as it's dark skies and no road noise contributed to very peaceful night

Perfect, quiet and brilliant, this site is everything you want for a relaxing break. Simon is so welcoming and helpfull, everything explained fully and sited you. The site is perfectly clean, the showers are spotless, you are told about walks around the farm and given a map with them on, we did the black walk and found the route around the crops had a mown path to walk on, everything has been thought about, it's these details that make a site great. There is a fishing lake which is very sheltered and peaceful, I found it hard fishing but could have been the cold weather of late. Would definitely book again and look forward to coming back soon.

A fabulous , friendly and secure traditional touring site . Very reasonably priced , and very peaceful .
