Stayed for a night while in the area. Staff were friendly, the building was nicely lit and welcoming. Free on site parking. Room was clean, quite small but nice. The bed was very soft and not very comfortable. The sash window did keep banging in the wind. Nice powerful shower. Breakfast was lovely and well presented. A nice stay.

Me and my wife had the best hotel stay ever and it is all thanks to Mo! He truly made our anniversary special. He went above and beyond for us. ||Our room was amazing and we felt well looked after. We could not have asked for a better experience!||Highly recommend

The staff are extremely friendly, supportive and helpful. They ensure all your needs are met to the highest quality, showing great professionalism. As a wedding venue the food was absolutely fantastic. Super delicious. The decor was on point and looked amazing. The hotel rooms are immaculate. Beds are super comfy and I definitely recommend this place for holding a wedding/ reception and staying there. Well done. The owner himself is a wonderful gentleman. Thank you again♥️

Having my 60th bash here was the perfect location for my milestone birthday. The grand building and gorgeous grounds made my event extra special. Emily Shardlow was my party planner - she did a fantastic job leading up to the day and especially on the BIG day. She kept me on track, so friendly, personable, organised and a credit to the team and Winstanley House. My chosen menu was delicious and plentiful, I had so many compliments about food plus the supporting staff on the day were brilliant. It was a night to remember for all the right reasons. We also stayed the night, had a great night's sleep and had a tasty breakfast. If you're planning an event, consider this venue, you will not be disappointed, I highly recommend it. Thanks Emily and to all the team for making my party a great success and a night not to be forgotten by all.

Very impressive hotel, very friendly and professional staff, great room and a superb restaurant. Nothing to fault, enjoyed our stay. Secure park, essential when travelling in a 65 year old car. Special mention to Mo on reception who greeted us after a long journey and was very welcoming and helpful!

Beautiful room, decor throughout the hotel was perfect. Concierge was very knowledgeable, welcoming.
Food was out of this world, could not fault a single dish we had from breakfast to dinner to desert.
Exterior was as beautiful as the interior.
Recommend without hesitation and will be rebooking on our return.

Wonderful wedding reception. Service held outdoors beneath the oak tree on the lawns. Lovely food served by very attentive staff, an outstanding experience thanks to all who made it so perfect. A super venue, lovely rooms and blessed with the weather.
