Afternoon Tea at the Wisteria Hotel, Oakham.|Visited the Hotel for an Afternoon Tea on a cold December Afternoon. The building was warm and inviting - beautifully decorated for Christmas. A table was already set out for three in a festive manner. The Food and Beverage Manager couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. The tea itself was delicious and plentiful. We would only say instead of all sponge cakes being served, even though they were delicious, perhaps an eclair or fruit tart would be a lovely addition. The scones and eton type mess desert were lovely. We will definetly be back and could easily recommend The Wisteria for afternoon tea.|Praise to the Manager as he was a perfect host.

Great stay. All staff very friendly and helpful. Room excellent. Would definitely stay here again and recommend.Easy to find and well located for visiting Rutland water and surrounding area. Breakfast very good and also had an excellent evening meal.

We stayed on New year's eve and were greeted by wonderfully welcoming friendly staff. Great spacious room with a comfortable bed. We ate in the restaurant; the food and wine was exceptional and the staff were lovely, the same with breakfast.

We had an excellent 1night stay at this superb hotel.
The room was well appointed and equipped with very comfortable large bed. The food at our evening meal and breakfast was well cooked with plenty of choice. The staff were all polite and helpful.
We would certainly go again.

We are a group of 14 adult locals who have utilised the restaurant three times in 2024 and myself and my family entertained a group of 36 to a wonderful lunch in June 2023.|Several of our guests, including my son, my daughter- in-law and grandson had rooms there along with our friends from out of town. |We believe the hotel rooms are good value and whether for Christmas Sunday lunch (15 December) or,a regular Sunday Lunch, the food is good quality and good value.|In addition the staff are very pleasant and attentive.|It’s not the Ritz but it is in my experience very good value for money.

The hotel was lovely and warm, very comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. Would certainly stay here again. |Right in the centre of Oakham, plenty of places to visit.|On the door step of Rutland water with all its wildlife.

We had a 70 birthday party for my husband. Food and service excellent. Kind , professional, considerate and attentive. and the room set up ideal. Would certainly use this venue again.
