Liked: Everything!!!! It was awesome!!!!
The hot tub was super relaxing and also fun to heat yourself.
Incredible views and 2 lovely sunsets
Soooo well equipped - everything you could think of from umbrellas to board games. The kitchen also had everything you could need including ketchup and brown sauce for your bbq.
Being seasoned campers (but leaving the kids for 4 nights) it felt like a real treat to have a bath room to ourselves which was spotlessly clean.
The lights above the bed and character of the yurt was relaxing and there were plenty of blankets etc if you did feel cold but we were fine.
I think it was better appointed than lots of airbnbs we have tried when the grandparents have the kids. Definitely the most relaxed we have felt.
The owners are also super friendly and welcoming

Liked: Everything. We absolutely loved our stay. Graham the owner is such a lovely, welcoming man and was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us around. The yurt has everything you need and is really cosy, especially when you fire the log burner up. The hot tub once fired up (takes around 2 hours) is great especially when the sun is setting. A lovely communal kitchen which also has everything you could need and the separate/private toilet/shower facilities are super clean. We will definitely be returning.

Disliked: This is no fault to anyone but it was extremely windy on our first night so it was really loud inside the yurt, would definitely advise some ear plugs if you're going in windy weather. The wind had calmed down by our second night and it was really peaceful ☺️

Friendly host, there to greet us and show us around the site. Amazing view of the Yorkshire countryside and facilities including a fire pit, BBQ and a luxurious wood fired hot tub. We ordered the continental breakfast which came every morning warm and fresh. Great location within 40 minutes of some of the best walks in England. Would highly recommend the drinking dinosaur coastal walk, the hole of Horcum and the Mallyan spout walks. Complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a very nice touch to enjoy in the hot tub surrounded by fairy lights. The double bed and accompanying blankets were extremely comfortable and had no trouble falling and staying asleep. Each pitch has its own personal and private shower room with toilet and sink and there is a shared kitchen for washing up and even cooking on the hot plates if you don’t want to use the BBQ. Most importantly for us this is a dog friendly site and the host greeted our large dog as another welcome guest! 10/10 would stay here again in a heart beat.

Liked: Lovely clean site, the owners were very accomadating and went out of there way to make sure you had everything you needed for your stay. The hot tubs were very relaxing.

Disliked: Showers could be a bit warmer.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay in the star gazing bell tent. This place is a hidden gem, so peaceful and pretty. The site is excellent, very well set out, love the separate toilet/ shower for each guests and it is immaculately clean. The star gazing bell tent was beautiful, very comfy bed, lovely little touches like ice cold Prosecco and treats on arrival, hot water bottles, umbrellas and blankets (if needed). The wood burning hot tub is great, no noisy pumps to disturb the peace, just fire up and relax in a hot steam bath looking out at stunning views. The owners Jayne & Graham are lovely, very helpful and there if you need any help but just leave you to enjoy your break. We will definitely be returning. Keep doing what you are doing because it works. Great 20th wedding anniversary 🥂.

Just returned from a 2 night stay in the star gazing bell tent and already looking for dates to go again. What a lovely place. The bell tent was beautiful, lovely comfy bed and loved the little extras ( hot water bottles, umbrellas, board games). The welcoming treats of Prosecco, tea, coffee, crisps and chocolate was a lovely touch. The views are stunning. The wood burning hot tub was great once we got the hang of the fire, Graham knows what I mean! 😂. The separate bathroom for each guest is a game changer for us and it was immaculately clean. The owners are so nice, there if you need anything but leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Keep doing what you are doing because it works. Great 20th wedding anniversary- thank you 🥂.

I stayed here last weekend with a group of friends, and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The facilities were absolutely spot on, with hot water bottles, a log burner, goodie bags, robes and lots more all provided. Its got everything you would want and more. Having your own private bathroom was a major bonus. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again and massively recommend it.

Liked: Our stay at Wold Meadow Yurts was absolutely fantastic. The yurts are very spacious and have absolutely everything you need inside them(Comfy Blankets, kettle, toaster, cutlery, cool box, log burner and much more) All logs and kindling could be purchased on site at a very good price. The owners were excellent with a friendly approach and very welcoming. They were clued up with the local areas and recommended some restaurants for excellent food within 15/20 minute of the site. The facilities were brilliant, each individual yurt had it’s own wash room in the shower block and a communal kitchen area with all the essentials for cooking including an electric oven. The hot tub was absolutely fantastic and even better at night with no light pollution which created an amazing experience for star gazing. We will 100% be returning and we have passed on details of the site to family and friends.

Disliked: Nothing to Dislike
