Irene was the most helpful, caring lady who couldn’t do enough to make our stay a wonderful experience. She asked us to fill out a form to request our choice of breakfast. The breakfast was cooked to perfection. ||||Irene told us and wrote down places to visit, which were amazing. We wouldn’t have visited the Walled Garden at Baumber or Kinematic in the Woods at Woodhall Spa. Tealby is a beautiful area where we walked part of the Viking Way. ||||Our beds were comfortable with tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in our rooms.T.V. and washing facilities.||||We liked the pretty village of Caister. Market Rasen needs a few ladies shops.

Can't believe this is the first review of 2020. We really enjoyed our night here. Irene is a terrific host. The room was comfortable, if a bit on the small size, and well stocked with tea, coffee and goodies and fresh milk. Different teas, fruity, decaffeinated etc. were available just outside the door. Breakfast was excellent. We chose the night before and everything was cooked to order. Irene was very chatty throughout, which we really enjoyed. Plenty of room for exercising our dog; the garden and along the edge of a field. |Be aware that this is not in the centre of Tealby. Entirely our own fault for not noticing; the map is correct and the Wold View website gives the correct address. Not an issue unless you were expecting to walk to the pub.

Irene was lovely right from the start. We were warmly welcomed and we chatted for a while. The room was cosy - had everything you could want. Irene had thought of everything. Good choice of breakfasts - cereal, toast, fried, and Irene would make anything we asked. Irene was full of ideas for places to visit, and she had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area. She told us what to avoid and what was a must-see. We had an evening meal in the B&B on our last evening, and the lamb chops were delicious. We had free rein of the house and nothing was too much trouble. We ended up staying after breakfast for a long chat every day. The setting is gorgeous and Irene has an enormous garden which we were free to enjoy. I can't recommend this B&B highly enough. Great value for money and a very relaxed atmosphere. It felt like a home from home and we didn't want to leave. Thanks Irene for making our stay absolutely fantastic.

Irene the host is very friendly and very helpful. The house is comfortable and well situated with a lovely garden. The bedroom had a good ensuite bathroom with an excellent shower. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. All types of tea were available and fresh milk provided every morning and whenever needed. Breakfast was excellent. There is a lounge area for residents. The only downside was that the towels are too small and the bed a little hard for me but not for my husband.

Perched at the top of a mile long climb outside Tealby, this one time restaurant, tea room and riding concern proved a very comfortable overnight stop. The room was spacious and well equipped with en suite shower and Irene provided a variety of teas and coffees, with more fresh milk left outside the door for the morning cuppa. She drove us down into the village for supper at the pub, much appreciated after our day's Viking Way walking. Breakfast included fresh fruit salad and a choice of fish as well as the usual fry up. Irene also made us sandwiches for our day. We were lucky to catch her still operating as she is thinking of selling up. She has also recommended a B and B for another of our days. Thoroughly recommended but go soon!

Excellent!!
Lovely property with most accommodating and considerate owner Irene. She's great and certainly a character!
Well located for access to Lincoln. A City that it would be criminal to miss if one is so near and never visited before....the Cathedral and Castle stunning.
Ideal for 'serious' cyclists and walkers with a great variety of picturesque circuits both on and off road.
Very good value for money.
Thank you for making my stay so pleasant Irene and I hope to visit again soon.

We stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast just for the one night so we could go to my niece's wedding. Irene could not have made us more welcome. The view from our room was stunning. The whole place was spotless and nothing was too much trouble . Irene even drove us down to the village church for the wedding. Breakfast was amazing and offered a great choice. We will certainly stay again.

What can I say about this establishment?. Everything that is lovely this place is that. Irene your host, loves her job, nothing is too much trouble and her breakfasts are full, wholesome and tasty. There's plenty of parking, well kept gardens and the views from the rooms are lovely. Phone her and book its worth your while.
