The fact that we stay twice a year is an endorsement of this wonderful cottage and indeed Silverdale. Situated in a beautiful and tranquil spot, it is ideally placed for walks along Morecambe Bay to Jenny Brown's Point and the nearby woods. It is also convenient for trips to the beautiful Lakes and Dales. This spacious stone cottage fronted by a pretty garden is very comfortable having everything that you would need for a perfect holiday. The cottage is run by Denise and her family who go out of their way to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. I cannot praise this picturesque cottage and its location enough.

The Old Cottage is full of charm and a very relaxing place to stay with everything you need. It has a beautiful conservatory overlooking the garden and fields..often graced by early morning deer. So close to amazing views across the bay and local walks in Silverdale. We look forwards to returning again very soon. Thank you Denise and family for creating such a beautiful place to stay.

Wolf House Cottage and its surroundings provide a haven of peace in an increasingly stressful world. We’ve been coming every year since 2017 and always return home regenerated and with a wonderful sense of calmness.The whole of the Silverdale area is interlaced with lovely walks and the views over the Bay from the front of Wolf House itself are stunning, particularly after a spectacular sunset.It’s become our spiritual home!

We're looking forward to another summer stay at the Old Cottage, having stayed over New Year 2024-5. Denise and family are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The Cottage is well furnished, with an excellently equipped kitchen, and has all that is needed for a relaxing holiday. Very comfortable beds make for a peaceful night's sleep and, during the daytime in summer. the secluded garden is ideal. We have stayed at the Wolf House regularly for more than 20 years, and would have no hesitation in recommending a visit.

The Wolfhouse cottage is a very special place. I have been visiting with family and friends for 10 years and it is always a treat and something we all look forward to. The old cottage is welcoming and cosy, the views are stunning and the surrounding countryside is perfect for walking.

We had a lovely winter weekend break staying at the Coach House. It was warm and inviting with lots of eclectic charm. It was stocked with everything you could need for cooking and entertaining, a real home from home. We loved the cosy evenings in front of the wood burner. There are wonderful views and plenty of country walks on your doorstep.
Denise was so welcoming and the wine and fresh flowers was a lovely surprise. Many thanks from Diane and friends.

Idyllic spot, first time visitors to Silverdale & we couldn't have picked a better location than The Coach House. Lovely welcome from the owner Denise, cottage well equipped, Christmas decorations up for our New Year stay and beautiful first floor lounge with cosy log burner - a perfect spot to admire the stunning views and sunsets. Nice little cafe & gallery next door and lots of walks right on the doorstep. Would love to return in the summer to take advantage of the pretty outside terrace. Would thoroughly recommend.

We have just returned from The Coach House and would recommend it very highly. It is warm, spacious and comfortable. We loved the quirky touches. The amazing rocking horse suspended above the spiral stairs and the old fashioned cash register on the sideboard. It has a huge terrace from which to view the sunset and a pretty little courtyard garden. All this and great walks straight from the door. Also close enough to the Yorkshire Dales and the Lakes for a day trip.
