Had a lovely family break at Woodlakes Park. We stopped in a 3 bed lodge on the lake.
The lodge itself was spacious, warm and comfortable, and the hot tub was a great addition with beautiful views over the lake. People have mentioned the beds but we found them comfortable. Personal preference i suppose!
We had a wonder around the site and it looks like lots of developments were happening which is great, although I would suggest a couple of small wooden children's play areas dotted around would be nice.
Jack's restaurant was amazing, food was delicious and staff were great. I would definitely recommend eating there.
There were a few maintenance issues and the lodge is alittle worn but we're not fussy people so it didn't bother us too much. We reported these issues before we left and we was assured the issues would be sorted.
All in all we had a lovely relaxing break and we will definitely return?

Myself and my partner had a lovely stay. The lodge was exactly like the photos. Had everything we needed in there and was given plenty of towels. Had a fully equipped kitchen and lots of glasses and plates. It was very quiet and relaxing. Only down side was the rain but still managed to use the hot tub and the outside day bed. There’s restaurants on site (we did not use) and a mini shop at reception. I would definitely come back!

We visited between Christmas and New year 2024. We stayed in Windsor 7 which is one of the 4 person glamping pods, overall it was OK but there are certain improvements I felt it needed. One being the lack of heating - the actual pod has under floor heating which works great! However the bathroom has zero heating and gets VERY cold - the lack of any radiators also made drying swimwear and towels impossible! Big flaw for me personally. The hot tub was great! And we enjoyed a camp fire one night. We went for a walk around the lakes and tried to visit the enchanted woods but came across a locked gate and had no way of getting in so sadly missed that bit, which was a shame. Jacks restaurant was great! The food was really good and the portions very generous! Staff were lovely. Overall I would like to go back , however I wouldn’t stay in the pods again and would definitely prefer to go when it’s warmer.

We had a lovely relaxing weekend. This is our 3rd stay with you. Jacks restaurant highly recommend going to. Lovely cooked breakfast and evening meal staff are really lovely. Only thing with the log cabins they do not have a mirror in them i remembered to bring one this time. Only mirror is in the bathroom and you cannot dry your hair in there. They need a dressing table and mirror. Apart from that highly recommend.

We stayed in Cedar plus 9 lakeside lodge for 3 nights, we are 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 2 dogs. We caught 1 fish during the stay which we have attributed to the time of year, thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The site was peaceful and very well maintained, our cabin was cosy and warm and just right for our needs. We will most definitely be returning as soon as we can and will be booking for a week next time.
Hot tub was fab - the boys spent most of their time in it whilst watching and waiting for a fish.
Beautiful lakes, scenery and a much needed break from the busy world. Thank you 🙂

We stayed in a Nature lodge! It was unreal…. Very clean and in a perfect spot.
The onsite pub and restaurant are amazing. We had a Santa breakfast at Jacks and a lovely meal on the bus at Pan Asia.
The enchanted forest was lovely and well maintained.
The best park we have been too, we can’t wait to go back in the summer.

The location was lovely and although our Lodge was tiny it had everything we needed. Hot tub had already been turned on so was lovely and warm. The evening went good until it was time for bed. The pillows were awful, all lumpy and very flat. The mattress was terrible, every movement you could hear the springs moving and dug into you. The next morning I woke up and had severe back pain. We went to the office to see if there was anything that could be done with regards to the mattress and was told no. Only thing the staff could offer was a couple of spare quilts to put down first and to leave a review. They said they were in process of management change. Nothing was open, no activities. I know it was December but then the activities shouldn't have been advertised. Jack's and pan asia were also closed meaning you had no choice but to drive and eat out. The next day the bruising started to appear on my back. Wouldn't return.

Arrived an hour earlier and was told our lodge was ready, which was a bonus!! There was miscommunication regarding the hot tub, but was soon rectified.|Lodge was cosy until we went to bed. The mattress was terrible, u could feel every spring!! My husband went to the office and given a single quilt for us to be put on top. We had to flip the mattress, which was a little better.|We came for new year and was really looking forward to walks around the enchanted forest, but wasn't open!! We visited Jacks restaurant for a drink. Found the young lad very rude!! Wouldn't even look at us when we were ordering and looked over us when he spoke to us. |We booked a meal at pan asia which was OK and was told it shut at 9! When I rang to book it the lady told me they would be having a dj on for new years eve, which we were looking forward to!!|Electric went off for around 45 mins, no one came to tell us what was going on, we just had to sit in darkness until it came back on.|I definitely won't be returning. It was so disappointing and definitely not worth the £700 we paid It could be a lovely site!!
