We spent a fantastic 5 days here at Woodlands. The lodges are spacious and very comfortable, they have everything you need ensuring your stay is as relaxed as it can be. The lake and surroundings are so relaxing and quiet, even got to see some deers passing by. Rob, the owner is a lovely guy, very helpful and accommodating, always on hand making sure everything is ok or if there is anything we need. Weather wasn't the best all week but managed to get a couple of days fishing done. The lake is well stocked and designed for relaxed leisure fishing, so plenty of sport had. The pool and gym included is luxurious, sadly didn't get to play golf but will do as we will definitely be back. Thanks for a great week.

Just had a 3 day break here and didn’t want to come home! Peaceful, quiet and pure relaxation. Rob is lovely who came around daily to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything, he has done the properties to a very high standard throughout and the grounds are beautiful! Inside the lodges there is everything you need including the small things like dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid, cutlery, towels and utensils. My only tiny negative is There could do with a bathroom door between the bedroom and bathroom as this is open and lacks privacy. However Plenty of fish caught and was well stocked with roach, Rudd and bream. The bed was very firm which wasn’t to my liking but this is a personal preference. Best tip I can give if your someone who mosquitoes are attracted to is take some mozzie repellent to save you getting bitten. We would love to come back one day! Thank you for having us

Great place to chill and relax. Rob the owner very friendly and checked if all was ok ? Lovely welcome pack. A lot of thought had gone into the lodges, very comfy, outside sitting area was great to take in the surroundings, watch the wildlife and the dog was relaxed too. Hubby enjoyed the fishing ? Just what was needed to recharge the batteries ? Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break x

Had a lovely week at Woodland Lakes, Aughton. Very quiet site with only four lodges. Pine Lodge was lovely, fire burning hot tub amazing, lovely welcome hamper and dog friendly. Rob the owner was very welcoming and regularly checked everything was okay. Would highly recommend.

We had a very nice relaxing time, the site is quiet and easy to find. The lodges have everything you need in terms of kitchen and bathroom facilities.

The owner popped by to check everything was ok, he was polite, friendly and helpful.

You get free use of the spa around the corner at the golf course too where you can also enjoy a meal with the option to take it back to your lodge.

We had a lovely time, exactly what we needed, would highly recommend.

Just spent the weekend here and can't find a fault with it. Lovely secluded location, great lodge, owner who is most welcoming and plenty to do around you. Bonus of having access to the Spa facilities over the road. Can't wait to go back

Had a great time the lodge was cosy it has everything you need we enjoyed that much we have booked another stay. You also can use the Spar it's literally over the road well worth a visit
