Booked an afternoon tea for a 60th and 70th birthday. We were a group of 6, 4 of whom had dietary requirements, 1 was very specific following a strict diet sheet. Dan the receptionist was extremely helpful when I explained the strict diet and I subsequently sent the diet sheet through. I was contacted within a few hours to say that the chef had designed a special afternoon tea within the guidelines provided including desserts. To go to all that trouble for 1 person is going above and beyond and deserves recognition. All other requirements were met with a smile and welcoming manner. I would give the staff 11/10 for effort, hospitality and genuine friendliness. I will be recommending Woodland Manor to everyone I know .

We had our wedding here last month. We hired exclusive so it was just our wedding party/ guests on site & also so we had all the rooms and our guests could stay if they wished, The rooms are gorgeous and well worth the money!
Was the most amazing day in such a beautiful setting, everyone loved the food for our wedding breakfast! Teri was the best person we could have wished for to oversee our day, communication was fantastic, she made sure everything was spot on & we can’t thank her enough ?

We will be back for sure!

Beautiful grounds and building, so first impressions were great. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. The room was basic and looked like it needed a little TLC. ||Although the hotel didn't appear to be very busy, I was given a room overlooking an outside yard and couldn't have the window open as I believe that staff were smoking.||The pillows on the bed were really lumpy and could do with replacing.||Overall, a beautiful building and grounds. If you get the right room i'm sure the view will be spectacular. Unfortunately, it wasn't a totally positive experience for me.

Just to echo what others have said, this is a lovely hotel in a quiet, leafy setting. We had a premium room and this was spacious, well appointed, comfortable and clean. There were no events on when we stayed and we enjoyed wonderful peace and quiet. We didn't stay in the hotel for breakfast so can't comment on that, but we had tea in the conservatory and that was a good experience too. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We have no hesitation in recommending this hidden gem of a hotel, and will definitely be staying again.

I had my handfasting blessing in August in the secret garden, what a beautiful day it was. Teri was amazing so attentive to everything. The day ran so smoothly, the location was amazing, food and hospitality wonderful. I do have to give a massive thank you to Teri, you made our day so special.. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

We had our wedding at Woodland Manor and all the staff were so helpful and accomomdating for us. They made everything run so smoothly and the manor itself is a beautiful building with lovely gardens. Teri was great to work with, really listened to how we wanted everything to run and made everything so easy. She was quick to respond to all of our queries and was fully engaged with makig our day special.

Would highly recommend as a venue or a hotel as the rooms were lovely too.

Stayed for one night. There was a wedding on and we were the only other guests I think but we were well looked after.
The staff were excellent, place was clean and tidy and breakfast was excellent. Would certainly recommend and lovely setting.Would advise to book direct. Nice stay and will be back

Lovely setting screened from the road and village by trees, surrounded by lawns this hotel certainly lived up to expectations. The staff were friendly and helpful from arrival to departure ensuring an enjoyable stay, and making sure I was aware of any events in the hotel in advance that might impact on my stay. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean with a lovely view of tge garden. The food was well cooked and varied, also breakfast was tweaked to cater to my requests, thank you. Overall a lovely stay, in a lovely environment thank you ?
