Stayed with my sister in room 2 for a night while visiting family(double+single).|Friendly welcome, clean comfortable room and large shower room. Vinyl flooring throughout, tea/coffeemaking facility with fresh milk in fridge outside room. Sister very pleased to find hairdryer as well! Parking available. Although on main Bath Road we slept very well indeed. Breakfast was fantastic - cereal, grapefruit, yogurt and cooked English with toast-certainly set us up for the day and lady of the house was lovely - couldn't have had a better service! All in all we found it good value for money, and will certainly try to stay again when we next visit!

We stayed here during Badminton horses trials, plenty of parking space, my friend & I shared a room it was clean well decorated & well equipped , one double bed one single & en suite. It was a room in the annexe the breakfasts were really very good & proper freshly ground coffee was served. There is a very good pub down the road for an evening meal . It is as it says B/B the rooms had all we needed, clean ,great breakfast fair price we would use again

Located on the A4 (but set back off the road), just 6 miles (9 kms) from the city centre, Woodlands is the ideal base when visiting Bath. Free on-site parking is available. Our charming, down-to-earth hosts made us feel most welcome and were able to recommend options for local dining within easy walking distance. Our ground-floor room was of a good size and was clean and comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious. Note: There are no EFTPOS/Credit Card facilities.

A very basic clean and tidy B & B. Carpet in the rooms would improve matters instead of vinyl floor covering. Made it seem cold in middle of May. Small double bed.Way over priced at £75.00 per night for "double room" and not that welcoming. The tariff was contradictory ! Nearly all taxi firm numbers wrong in room directory. Very expensive return taxi fares from here to Bath. Not the proprietors fault of course.A lovely, big, full English breakfast though,albeit you do dine in the front entrance hallway/reception. Paper thin walls so you can hear noise from next door rooms.

Woodlands was absolutely perfect for our trip to Real World Studios in Box. It was within walking distance of the studios and local pubs. The family room we had was ideal, breakfast was delicious and we were very well looked after. Couldn't have been happier, highly recommended.

phoned ahead to let them know we were running late very accomodating, offered us a cooked breakfast at 6am as we had to leave early which was very kind, but declined as we felt too much trouble for them to go to, so a plus for hospitality,||However, I didnt like the vinyl flooring was a bit cold! The walls were paper thin and our neighbours rather loud till about 1am. In the morning (ladies) there was not a plug socket anywhere near a mirror a bit of a pain for doing hair and make up!

we were greeted by a lovely lady who made us feel very welcome, the room was a good size and very clean with ensuite bathroom, the room had tv, and tea/coffee facilities and was offered wfi details, beautiful garden but due to weather was unable to sit outside. we had to check out early and couple got up early to make us full English breakfast which was lovely, would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again if visiting the area in the future.

Homely, my wife & I felt comfortable. We had a large bedroom ensuite. Recommendation to eat at the Quarryman's arms was excellent advice. Next time if possible we will make a table reservation. Woodlands Full English breakfast another bonus. VFM all round. No negatives.
