We had such a fantastic time at Woods Meadow for a few days just after Christmas! It was the perfect after holiday get away. The location was ideal , hosts were lovely and so accomodating and the lodge was stunning. I can't believe they fit such a perfectly stocked kitchen in there! We'll definitely be going back. 🙂

The lodges were cosy and well equipped. Our boys , 9 and 13 loved staying here. The lodge can cater for 5 people but a family of 4 was ok for us. It would be ok if we had 3 children but we couldn’t have had a grandparent stay. This isn’t a criticism at all just an FYI. The hosts were great and the location was good. We felt peace and quiet yet only a mile away from the town. Facilities were good and we felt safe. We have already recommended it to friends and hopefully we can get to go back.

We loved our stay at Woods Meadow Glamping. Communication was great, the pod was equipped with everything- even USB ports on the sockets. When we had a problem, it was dealt with straight away. Our kids loved seeing the animals too. Really relaxing environment, clean, and out of the way. Great hospitable hosts. Brilliant stay.

We were the first to use the new addition to Edward Bear Lodge, unfortunately biscuit couldn't join us in the tub as he didn't have his arm bands. Gave some great feedback to Liesl and Richard and we will becrobooking, this was my 4th staycation and always l9ve to hear about their new innovations and ideas x well done Liesl and Richard, kids l9ve Bonnie x

First off, I’m incredibly thankful to Woods Meadow for allowing us to stay. It’s difficult to find a place that accommodates five women, all 30 and under, with a child. This stay was nothing short of beautiful, peaceful, and refreshing. From the stunning views to the cozy ambiance of the property, everything was just perfect! The hosts were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, always just a phone call away and quick to resolve any issues we had. Although we did experience some problems with the water, it didn’t detract from our trip at all. One suggestion would be to provide a smaller, more concise welcome book to make it easier to read. Other than that, I couldn’t fault either the property or the hosts.

We loved our stay at Woods Meadow Glamping. Stayed in the Edward Bear Lodge where the kids were very excited by the secret beds! The lodge was spotless, welcoming and had everything we needed for our stay. Highlight was reading stories and toasting marshmallows by the fire. ||The owners are incredibly friendly. ||Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant stay in Squirrel Lodge. Spotlessly clean, everything we needed was there. Comfy beds, linen and pillows.|Fans and foldaway side table were a great addition. |Decking, outside furniture and fire pit area was great and all very clean. |We had a rainy afternoon when first arrived but I logged into my own netflix account and we snuggled up and watched a movie. |Kids loved the mezzanine sleeping and hang out area. |I felt very happy to let my 9 year old play out the back by himself in the woodside playground and he loved the swing.||Liesl is a fantastic host and very relaxed and easy to talk to. She gave us a little tour of the farm and the children picked some freshly laid eggs from the chickens and it blew their mind. Eggs the following morning were soooo delicious! Thanks very much and we would love to come back and visit again!||The lodge is really like a tardis/hobbit hut. It's so lovely outside and inside.

Had an amazing stay in Woodpecker Lodge. Everything we needed was provided. Very comfy beds too. Beautiful location with lots of little areas to explore. Would definitely recommend bringing a car if possible as buses and taxis are not the most reliable. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
