Excellent went for two rounds of golf with an overnight stay. The golf club was great. The members were friendly and polite and very welcoming. But a big thanks to the staff, the bar kept open for us on the night, and in the morning, the cleaners even made me a coffee. Would highly recommend this. Well done.

Amazing stay!! The only suggestion is to put better signs for the reception as it was a bit confusing how to check in! Beautiful rooms 🤩🤩 and great WiFi!

Beautiful building and grounds. Stayed just the one night, twin room had everything you needed. The beds were comfortable and the views stunning.
Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Great value for money
(Suggestion not a criticism rather than a large jug of milk and 1 large dish of sugar etc, maybe smaller and more for each table at breakfast)
Would stay here again, staff all very friendly and efficient

I stayed here for two nights, also had breakfast twice.

The room was very cosy, everything was clean and fresh. The use of a fridge/freezer was helpful in the little communal room.

The room was also furnished and decorated to a high standard. Along with the shower. Nice surprise to see a waterfall shower with decent pressure!

The golf course looked beautiful and looked very well kept. Unfortunately, I'm not one for swinging bats, assuming if I did, I would appreciate it more!

The staff even returned a shirt I had rather foolishly left in the wardrobe. Nice touch, and not even replying to my email reference the cost!!

The breakfast was lovely, especially the poached eggs. Gold star for them!

Honestly couldn't fault it, if I stay anywhere around Huddersfield or Leeds anytime soon, I'll stay here, guaranteed.

This is my second time here. Slightly disappointed as the pillows are too hard. The tv didn’t work, the bathroom light was flickering and the outside bench from room 5 has been removed. So we couldn’t really sit outside and enjoy the lovey views in the evening. A few tweeks and this could be a lovely affordable stay. The beds are super comfortable. The location is quiet and beautiful. The staff are great.

My trip was business, I required some peace and quiet to complete my day. I got that, completed my work, visited the club house and had a Beveridge to end my day. I had food with me and the excellent settings made it enjoyable.
Breakfast was lovely, I could not eat it all, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and some of the members were friendly, had a few discussions.
Maybe next time I get time to play golf.
